摘要： A simple and economical one-step process for felt-proofing and dimensionally stabilizing textiles, particularly textiles based on keratinous fibers is disclosed. In the process, the textiles are treated with aqueous baths which contain salts of sulfurous acid or pyrosulphites as reducing agents and polyurethanes which contain onium groups.

摘要： An aqueous solution of bisulphite blocked polyisocyanate prepolymers is imparted improved storage stability at temperatures up to about 45.degree. C by incorporation of about 0.5 to 20% by weight (based on the weight of bisulphite blocked prepolymer) of an aromatic or alkyl aromatic sulphonic acid of the formula:R(SO.sub.3 H).sub.nwherein R is an aromatic or alkyl aromatic hydrocarbon group having 6 to 15 carbon atoms and n is an integer from 1 to 3. The solution may also contain up to 80 volume percent (based on the total quantity of solvent) of an organic solvent miscible with water and having a boiling point below about 150.degree.C. This solution may be used to finish paper, leather or textiles and to shrink proof keratin containing textiles.

摘要： A dressing is guided onto a cylinder of a printing machine. At least one roller element is used to accomplish this dressing guidance. A support, which includes spaced first and second ends, is provided. The first end of the support is connected to a cross-piece that is running along parallel to an axis of rotation of the cylinder. The at least one roller element is situated on the second end of this support. The support is an elastically flexible body. An actuator is arranged between the cross-piece and the support. The actuator is operable to move the roller toward or away from the cylinder by flexing the elastic support.

摘要： A device is provided for the storage of a blanket or a dressing that is to be supplied to a cylinder of a printing machine. A retainer is usable, in a first operating position, to retain the blanket in a first storage position. The blanket can leave the first storage position when it is disengaged from the retainer as the retainer is moved to a second operating position. A second storage position is situated below the first storage position and is vertically spaced from the first storage position along the length of the blanket to be supported. The second storage position stores the blanket that is detached from the retainer before it is supplied to the cylinder. The blankets are stored lengthwise without touching each other. Blankets to be applied to the cylinder are stored in the storage positions one on top of the other.

摘要： Blankets or packings to be supplied to a cylinder of a printing machine, and having a certain length, are stored in a storage device. A holding element, in a first operating state, holds the blanket in a first storage position. The holding element and the blanket are separated when the holding element moves into a second operating state. When the holding element is detached, the blanket moves into a second storage position that is vertically spaced, along the length of the blanket, from the first storage position. Two holding devices can be used to hold the blanket on two of its opposed sides. When at least one of the holding elements moves into the second operating state, the distance between the two holding elements is at least temporarily enlarged above the dimension of the blanket held by the holding elements.

摘要： A system for conveying molded bricks known as briquettes from a press to a bed plate wherein the briquettes are each conveyed by a plurality of spaced parallel belts to above a conveyor which carries the bed plates under the briquettes supported by the conveyor belts. An inclined substantially coplanar conveyance track which includes elongated rollers has its after portion periodically raised whereby the rollers located in the after portion penetrate upwardly between the belts carrying the briquettes thus lifting the briquettes from the belt. A removal mechanism pushes the briquettes down the rollers of the conveyance track onto a removal plate which pivots with the conveyance track and extends therefrom at a slight incline, the briquettes being received by the main conveyor carrying the bed plates whereby the briquettes are pushed over the conveyance track and onto the bed plate. The removal mechanism is reciprocating and the main conveyor moves intermittently and simultaneously with the removal mechanism except, preferably, the removal mechanism stops slightly before the main conveyor stops which provides an interval between rows of briquettes received on the bed plates.

摘要： A seat assembly includes a seat including a back and an armrest assembly. The armrest assembly includes a fastener supported on the back of the seat and that defines an axis. A fixed spacer is disposed about the fastener, and a spring bushing is disposed about the fixed spacer. An armrest includes a frame having a rotating bushing supported on the spring bushing. As a result, the frame and the armrest can pivot relative to the fastener and the back of the seat. The spring bushing applies a radial force against both the rotating bushing and the fixed spacer.
