    摘要: A roll having bending control has a rotating hollow roll and a non-rotatable crossbeam penetrating the hollow roll lengthwise. Arranged on the crossbeam in an axially parallel row, closely following one another, are supporting elements which can be actuated independently of one another by fluid pressurized medium. Supply lines are attached via angle units to a bar-type carrier which is fastened to the crossbeam by means of screws that can be manipulated from the outside. The screws have longitudinal bore holes through which the respective supply line is directly connected to the respective supporting element.

    摘要: A roller with controllable sag is provided with a revolving hollow roller and a non-rotating crosshead that crosses the hollow roller along its length and on which the hollow roller is supported by a series of supporting elements that are actuated by a pressure medium. Separate supply lines (13) lead to the supporting element and open out into a collection head (40) at the end (10') of the crosshead, to which the outer connection lines (53) are connected. The connection head (40) comprises a double-disc rotary slide valve (50) by which the lines (13, 53) can be interrupted and which in the closed state can be separated at a separation surface (47). The individual discs (51, 52) of the double disc rotary slide valve (50) keep both the supply lines (13) and connection lines (53) closed, thus facilitating replacement of the roller as and when required.

    摘要: A semiconductor memory configuration in a semiconductor substrate includes bit lines, word lines, and memory cells each including one memory capacitor and one MOS selection transistor having two conducting regions and a gate electrode. Each memory capacitor is connected to one of the conducting regions of the transistor. The other of the conducting regions of the transistor is connected to one of the bit lines, and the gate electrode of the transistor is connected to one of the word lines. An insulating field oxide or buried insulating oxide with substantially vertical sidewalls is provided. A trench lies adjacent to the insulating field oxide or buried insulating oxide and adjacent to one of the conducting regions. The capacitors are each disposed in one trench for each memory cell. A first insulating layer covers the inner trench wall surface. A first electrode of the capacitor is disposed perpendicular to the substrate surface on the first insulating layer completely inside the trench. A second insulating layer is disposed on the first electrode. A second electrode is disposed vertically on the second insulating layer in the trench. A contact is connected between the first electrode of the capacitor and one of the conducting regions of the transistor laterally through an opening formed in the first insulating layer on the inner trench wall surface. Methods for producing the semiconductor memory configuration and a memory matrix having at least four of the memory cells, are also provided.

    摘要: A hydrostatically supported roll has several hydrostatic support elements supporting the inner circumference of a rotating hollow roll. The hydrostatic elements are supported on the stationary crosshead that extends through the rotating roll to form a clearance space therewith. Each hydrostatic element has support pockets supplied with a first pressurized fluid via choke canals and branch lines connected to a flow-controlled pump delivering a constant volume of first pressurized liquid, regardless of the counterpressure in the support pockets. The first pressurized liquid fed to the support pockets is temperature-controlled. The support pockets are separated from essentially closed pressure chambers, which are supplied with a second pressure-controlled pressurized liquid from separate feedlines for pressing the hydrostatic elements against the inner circumference of the hollow roll to support same. The second pressurized liquid is not communicated to the inner circumference of the hollow roll. Therefore, independent of any pressure change in the pressure chambers, the same quantity of first pressurized liquid passes over the edges of the support pockets to ensure that the amount of heat transferred to the inner circumference of the hollow roll remains constant.

    摘要: In a hydraulically supported roll including a rotatable hollow cylinder and a stationary crosshead, transverse end seals are provided to seal the annular clearance space formed between the crosshead and the inner circumference of the hollow cylinder. Each transverse end seal includes a slide ring having a chamber located on the first surface of the slide ring abutting a counter-ring. The chamber provides hydraulic relief. Radially outside of the chamber a narrow groove is provided which communicates with the low-pressure side of the slide ring via a channel. The channel discharges hydraulic fluid flowing to the first surface of the slide ring as a result of the high pressure in the clearance space.
