    摘要: A torque converter defines an ellipticity lower than or equal to 0.23 which is an outermost length of the torque converter in an axial direction, divided by an outermost diameter of the torque converter in a radial direction. The torque converter includes: a pump impeller connecting to an input shaft; a turbine runner opposed to the pump impeller and connecting to an output shaft; and a stator disposed between an inlet of the pump impeller and an outlet of the turbine runner, by way of a one way clutch which allows a one way rotation. The torque converter transmits a power by circulating a fluid through the pump impeller, the turbine runner and the stator. A first area ratio A is: 0.23≦A≦0.45, A second area ratio B is: 0.23≦B≦0.45, and A third area ratio C is: 0.15≦C

In order to balance the enhanced vehicle's startability and improved fuel economy at idle, the ratio W/D of a stator-blade axial length W to a torque-converter nominal diameter D is set to satisfy a predetermined inequality 0.030≦W/D≦0.052.

    摘要: A method of manufacturing a powder coating is provided which does not require a long complicated process, which enables the paint to be manufactured easily and with good conservation of energy, and moreover is free of any danger of gelling during the manufacturing process. The powder coating is manufactured by spray drying a powder coating raw materials solution comprising, as essential constituents, an epoxy group containing acrylic resin (A), a polyvalent carboxylic acid (B), and an organic solvent (C) incorporating an alcohol (C-1) of 2 to 4 carbon atoms, at a temperature at which the epoxy group containing acrylic resin (A) and the polyvalent carboxylic acid (B) undergo no substantial curing reaction.

    摘要: The present invention provides a sealing arrangement between a flow regulator and a shut-off valve attached to an oxygen cylinder. The shut-off valve includes a casing which is adapted to be mounted to an oxygen cylinder containing oxygen gas or an oxygen enhanced gas, a side wall defining a part of the casing. A female outlet port is defined in the side wall of the casing. The flow regulator includes a metallic cylindrical body which has first and second end faces. A yoke extends from the first end face of the cylindrical body. A screw bolt, which has an end facing the first end face of the cylindrical body, operates with the yoke to clamp the casing of the shut-off valve between the first end face of the cylindrical body and the end of the screw bolt. A male inlet port extends from the first end face of the cylindrical body into the female outlet port of the shut-off valve to receive the oxygen gas or the oxygen enhanced gas. An o-ring is provided around the inlet port of the flow regulator so that the o-ring is clamped between the first end face of the cylindrical body of the flow regulator and the casing of the shut-off valve when the flow regulator is secured to the shut-off valve. The sealing member is made of an electrically conductive rubber material.

    摘要: The apparatus includes a cylinder for containing a pressurized therapeutic oxygen gas, a nasal cannula, adapted to be introduced into a nasal passage of a patient, and a conduit extending between the cylinder and the nasal cannula for directing the therapeutic oxygen gas to the nasal cannula from the cylinder. A pressure sensor is provided on the conduit for detecting the pressure in the conduit. A valve is provided, in the conduit, which allows and blocks the fluid communication between the cylinder and the nasal cannula. A controller controls the operation of the valve in synchronization with the respiration of a patient, based on the changes in the pressure detected by the pressure sensor. The volume of the oxygen therapeutic gas passing through the valve for each respiration is increased, compared with a normal respiration condition, when the respiratory frequency increases.

The powder coating composition contains an epoxy group-containing vinyl copolymer (A) having a glass transition temperature of 40° C. or higher and a number-average molecular weight of 1,000 to 2,500, an epoxy group-containing vinyl copolymer (B) having a glass transition temperature of 0° C. or lower, and a polycarboxylic acid (C). 30 to 90% by weight of a polymerization unit of the epoxy group-containing vinyl copolymer (B) originates in a methacrylic acid alkyl ester (b-1) which has an alkyl group having 8 or more carbon atoms.
