    摘要: Resin having a susceptibility to electrostatic charge which is opposite in polarity to the susceptibility to electrostatic charge of a filter sheet or member forming a filter element is impregnated into the filter member. For example, when the filter member is composed of polyester of 50-70 weight percentage and glass fiber of 5-25 weight percentage as well as pulp of 15-35 weight percentage, resin composed of phenol resin of 5-20 weight percentage and melamine resin of 80-95 weight percentage is impregnated into the filter member so that the susceptibility to electrostatic charge of the filter member can be neutralized. Thus, static electricity generated by friction between the filter element and fuel flowing therethrough can be controlled.

    摘要: A fuel pump and a fuel filter inside a fuel tank and a pressure regulator are supported by a cover closing for an opening of the fuel tank. The fuel sucked by the fuel pump flows into the fuel filter and flows out to the lower side chamber of a filter housing after being filtered by an element. The fuel consumed at the fuel consumption device such as an internal combustion engine is supplied through a fuel passage extending upward from the lower side chamber of the filter housing. On the other hand, water mixed in the fuel is accumulated in the lower side chamber. Especially, glass fibers having high water affinity is mixed in the filter element, so that water is trapped, becomes water drops, and fall to the lower side chamber. Water drops return to the fuel tank with surplus fuel through the pressure regulator disposed at the bottom of the housing.

    摘要: A cover for a fuel tank opening is molded with insulating resin and a plurality of terminal pins is directly inserted thereinto. A lower housing portion, made of conductive resin and containing a fuel filter element, is weld-connected to the fuel tank side of the cover. A fuel pump is held under the cover. When electricity is supplied to the fuel pump via an electric connector, fuel is discharged from the fuel pump and this discharged fuel is filtered by a fuel filter. Static electricity generated in the fuel filter dissipates through the lower housing portion made of conductive resin. This construction enables suppression of electrostatic voltage generated in the fuel filter. Moreover, a plurality of connector terminals are directly inserted into the upper housing cover portion of the fuel filter housing at the time of molding, which can therefore supply electric power to the fuel pump with a simplified construction.

    摘要: A compact pressure regulating valve makes installation work simple and has a hermetic structure of a stationary value member without a specific seal member. A pressure regulator (201) has a body (203) which includes a fuel inlet (215) and an inner periphery for positioning a stationary valve member (205) in a radial direction. When the movable valve member (208) leaves the stationary valve member (205), the valve opens. Operation of the movable valve member (208) is controlled by a diaphragm which moves to balance the pressure of the pressure chamber (211) and the pressure of a back pressure chamber (213) combined with a biasing pressure of a compression coil spring (214). As a result, the pressure of the pressure chamber (211) can be controlled without a specific sealing member or complex structure. In addition, a pressure regulating valve according to the present invention is compact and easy to install, and has no specific member to seal the stationary valve member.

    摘要: A fuel level detecting device has a first locking mechanism including a locking member, clamping portions for clamping a mounting surface, and pawl arms which are on a body of the device. A slit and engagement portions are provided on the mounting face of the mounting member, which acts as a second locking mechanism. The thickness of the locking member is equal to or slightly larger than the width of the slit, and the gap between a clamping portion and a contact face is equal to or slightly smaller than the thickness of the mounting face. The body is mounted to the mounting member when the locking member is inserted into the slit. This ensures the fuel detecting device to be mounted without play and disconnection thereof even when vibration occurs.

    摘要: An oil deterioration detector comprising a sensitive electrode whose electric potential varies in response to acidity and/or basicity of oil to be measured, and a reference electrode associated with this sensitive electrode. An electrically conductive housing accommodates the sensitive electrode and the reference electrode together with the oil. A potential difference detector detects oil deterioration by measuring a potential difference between the sensitive electrode and the reference electrode. And, an insulating member is interposed between these electrodes and the electrically conductive housing for electrically insulating these electrodes from the electrically conductive housing. The reference electrode is grounded together with the electrically conductive housing. An insulating, hydrophilic porous member would be interposed between the sensitive electrode and the reference electrode.
