    摘要: To make the turning "on" and "off" of a clutch in an electro-magnetic clutch smoother, the electro-magnetic clutch has a first rotating member rotatable in response to the driving force applied to the input axis, and a second rotating member arranged opposite to the first rotating member and freely rotatable about the rotation axis of the first rotating member and coupled to the output axis. A movable member is coupled to one end of a return spring and is disposed between the first rotating member and the second rotating member for movement along the rotation axis of the first rotating member. An electric coil generates a force to drive the movable member along the rotation axis of the first rotating member. Cylindrical auxiliary slide members are arranged approximately at equal intervals on the movable member and are disposed between the movable member and the second rotating member. The axes of the auxiliary slide members pass through the center of the rotation axis of the first rotating member and extend perpendicular to the rotation axis.

    摘要: The invention is directed to an actuator which is mounted on a base to rotate a rotary member about a rotational axis thereof. The actuator includes a first magnetic rotary member which is rotatably mounted on the base about the axis, and provided with a first engaging portion which traces a peripheral locus about the axis. It also includes a second magnetic rotary member which is rotatably mounted about the axis, and provided with a second engaging portion engageable with the first engaging portion on the peripheral locus about the axis. The first engaging portion is moved to be engageable with the second engaging portion when the first rotary member is rotated in one direction relative to the second rotary member, and the first engaging portion is moved to be away from the second engaging portion when the first rotary member is rotated in the opposite direction. A solenoid is concentrically mounted about the axis in stationary relationship with the base, and adapted for exciting the first and second rotary members to form a magnetic path therewith when the first and second engaging portions engage with each other. And, a rotating device such as a motor is provided for rotating the first rotary member about the axis.

    摘要: A tape drive apparatus includes a pair of reel holder gears respectively provided in reel shafts which are respectively engaged with a pair of reels around which a tape is wound, a switching operation portion for switching at least a fast-forwarding operation and a rewinding operation, and a running mechanism for transporting the tape in the positive direction and in the reverse direction by selectively driving the pair of reel holder gears based on the direction in which the switching operation portion is moved. When the tape is transported in the positive direction, if the switching operation portion is moved in one direction, then the tape is transported at a high speed in the positive direction to fast-forward the tape. If the switching operation portion is moved in the other direction reverse to the one direction, then the tape is transported at a high speed in the reverse direction to thereby rewind the tape.

    摘要: A collision between members is prevented as a movable part moves. A guide member is disposed along a diaphragm which supports a valve element. The guide member have a curved surface which the diaphragm, whereby a region of the guide member where it abuts against the diaphragm shifts. By shifting the fulcrum for the diaphragm, an operating response is achieved which stops the movement of the valve element before a gap between it and a core of magnetizable material reduced to zero as the valve element is attracted by the core. To define a positive change in the position of the fulcrum, the guide member is formed of a metallic material. The guide member is formed with openings to reduce its rigidity.

    摘要: An improvement is provided in and relating to a capacitance-type record medium wherein an information signal is recorded as a variation in the geometrical shape of its surface area, and is played back by the variation of the capacitance between its surface and an electrode of a reproducing stylus scanning the surface of the record medium relatively which occurs according to a variation in the geometrical shape of its surface area. The improvement consists in the fact that at least the surface area of the record medium is formed of (1) a material composed of an electrically conductive substance and a copolymer consisting of 98 to 65% by weight of vinyl chloride, 2 to 20% by weight of an alkyl vinyl ether with the alkyl group having 4 to 18 carbon atoms and/or a vinyl ester of a fatty acid in which the fatty acid residue has 4 to 18 carbon atoms and 0 to 15% by weight of another monomer copolymerizable with these compounds, or (2) a material composed of an electrically conductive substance and a polymer mixture consisting of at least two polymers in which the proportions of the constituent monomers are the same as in the aforesaid copolymer.
