摘要: Evacuation operation performance is improved when any abnormality occurs in an electronic throttle control system. When any serious abnormality occurs, a first abnormality storage element (133) operates, a load relay for a power supply circuit (104a) of a throttle valve open/close controlling motor (103) is de-energized to operate a first alarm and display (109a). Thus a first device carries out the evacuation operation by a fuel cut control. When any slight abnormality occurs, a second abnormality storing element (136) comes to actuate thereby a second alarm and display (109b) being operated. Thus a second device carries out the evacuation operation using together a throttle valve opening control by the motor 103 and the fuel cut control.

As a suppression rotational speed, a lower limit threshold at a stop, a rotational speed substantially in proportion to the output of an accelerator position sensor, a rotational speed substantially in inverse proportion to the output of a throttle position sensor, or a default threshold rotational speed is selected, and multiple escape running can be carried out.

摘要: To secure normal operation and then restart a microprocessor (CPU) when a CPU built into an on-vehicle electronic apparatus runs away. A number of on-vehicle loads driven from a CPU, a watchdog timer for monitoring the CPU to reset and restart it on occurrence of an abnormality, and a memory element for storing generation of the reset output are provided, and load driving elements or a load relay is rendered inoperative by output of the memory element. The memory element is reset by cutting off or reclosing the power switch, and an on-vehicle electronic apparatus returns to a normal state.

摘要: A first control circuit section (master station) and a second control circuit section (substation) communicate with each other via series-parallel converters. The master station includes regular transmission device and transmission-permitting signal generation device; and the sub station includes regular report device, confirmation reply device relative to a transmission data from the master station, and an unprocessed data table. The unprocessed data table prevents jam-up in upstream communication from the sub station to the master station, enabling to carry out timely regular transmission and regular reporting. Transmission from the sub station to the master station is performed based on a transmission-permitting control signal that the master station generates. Consequently, it is possible to execute communication error processing and diminish communication control burden on the master station while properly performing the regular transmission and regular report between the master station and sub station.

摘要: First and second control circuit sections that mutually communicate via a series-parallel converter comprise first and second adder-subtracter respectively. When any receiving error occurs in each control circuit section, a variation value 3 is added to the adder-subtracter on the receiving side. When data is normally received, a variation value 1 is subtracted from the adder-subtracter. Initial value of the adder-subtracter is set to 9. When a current value exceeds 11, first and second error detection signal is generated to carry out alarm display or initialization, and initialization and restart of the other-side control circuit section.

摘要: Intake throttle valves 21a to 21d disposed on the intake pipes 15a to 15d for each cylinder of a multi-cylinder engine 10 are provided with motors 20a to 20d for controlling valve opening of the intake throttle valves. The microprocessor 31 controls throttle valve opening in response to a degree of stepping on an accelerator pedal 42 in cooperation with a program memory 32A. The control of valve opening by each motor is sequentially subject to time division processing in the exhaust stroke of each cylinder, and a current valve opening is stored and held by a feedback control circuit section 39, 69B, 69C in the other strokes, thereby the control burden on the microprocessor being reduced.

摘要: An engine control system provides a gas concentration detection output irrespective of variation in product or change due to passage of time using an on-vehicle exhaust gas sensor. An exhaust gas sensor 107 and an electric heater 119 are connected to a microprocessor 120a, and an oxygen-concentration detection output Ip of exhaust gas, a calibration signal Vc and an internal resistance detection signal Vr are inputted through A/D converter 125. A program memory 121a stores standard characteristic data of the exhaust gas sensor 107. An atmospheric air oxygen-concentration detection output Ip0 under fuel-cut drive is measured and monitored. The electric heater 119 controls temperature so that the output coincides with the stored value. Current internal resistance of the exhaust gas sensor 107 is read and stored as target resistance. In normal driving, the electric heater 119 is controlled so that the internal resistance becomes the target resistance.
