摘要: An inverter device includes a filter circuit, an inverter circuit, an electric current detecting circuit, a voltage detecting circuit, a control circuit for outputting a drive signal so as to switch switching devices, and an internal power supply. The control circuit includes a shutdown circuit for stopping outputting the drive signal to the switching devices when an electric current flowing through a motor is an overcurrent or a voltage across the inverter circuit is an overvoltage or the voltage outputted from the internal power supply is not stabilized. When electric power by residual charge in the capacitor is used after the inverter device is disconnected from a high-voltage battery, the control circuit generates the drive signal based on a reference waveform and three commands for keeping switching devices corresponding to one phase in either ON or OFF state and for switching ON and OFF the other remaining switching devices.

摘要: A motor controller for a motor-driven compressor includes a compressing body for compressing and discharging a refrigerant and a motor including a rotary shaft, the motor for driving the compressing body through the rotary shaft. A coil of the motor is arranged in a refrigerant containing area in the motor-driven compressor. The motor controller includes a determining section for determining whether liquid refrigerant is present in the refrigerant containing area and a modulation control section for driving the motor in accordance with three phase modulation control or two phase modulation control based on a determination result of the determining section.

摘要: A coil of an electric motor is cooled by refrigerant. A controller for the electric motor controls a current supplied to the coil within a range less than or equal to a predetermined maximum value. A temperature detection section detects either a temperature of the coil or a temperature about the coil. When a detection temperature that is detected by the temperature detection section prior to activation of the electric motor reaches a predetermined reference temperature, a limiting section executes a limiting control to limit an upper limit value of the current supplied to the coil to a limiting value that is less than the maximum value. Accordingly, the coil of the electric motor is protected without stopping the operation of the electric compressor immediately after activation.

摘要: A direct-current to three-phase alternating-current inverter system includes a three-phase motor, a plurality of switching elements, an inverter circuit for the three-phase motor, a capacitor, a direct-current power source and a control circuit. The switching elements arranged in the inverter circuit serve as upper and lower arms for the respective three phases of the three-phase motor, respectively. The capacitor is connected in parallel to the respective pairs of the upper and lower arms. The direct-current power source is arranged between the neutral-point of the three-phase motor and the respective lower arms or the respective upper arms. The control circuit controls the switching elements such that at least the switching frequency of one pair of the switching elements for one phase through which the current having the greatest value flows is lower than the switching frequencies of the other pairs of the switching elements for the other phases.

The power supply coupler includes a primary coil, a communication unit to communicate the power receiver coupler, a thermistor for detecting the temperature of the power supply coupler, and a communication interruption circuit for interrupting a communication signal when the predetermined value is detected by the thermistor. When the temperature of the power supply coupler exceeds the predetermined value, a signal is produced by the communication interruption circuit to prevent an excessive temperature rise in the power supply coupler. The signal may, for example, stop the supply of electric power to the power supply couple.

摘要: The two-phase modulation control inverter unit includes a plurality of switching devices, a shunt resistor and a controller. The switching devices drive a three-phase motor. The shunt resistor is connected between a direct-current power supply and the switching devices. The controller reads a voltage applied to the shunt resistor in a read cycle, computes command voltages based on the read voltage, and uses the command voltages and carrier signals to compute three control signals. The read cycle corresponds to two or more signal cycles of each carrier signal. Each control signal has a pulse for each signal cycle of the corresponding carrier signal. The controller integrates a plurality of pulses of each control signal in the read cycle into one or more pulses. The controller reads a voltage applied to the shunt resistor at the time of outputting of the integrated one or more pulses in the next read cycle.

摘要: A DC to three-phase AC inverter system includes a three-phase motor, an inverter circuit, switching elements, a capacitor, a DC power source and a control circuit. The DC power source is connected to the three-phase motor at a neutral point thereof. The control circuit calculates voltage commands, first through third divided boost commands by dividing a boost command, and first through third drive signals based on the voltage commands and the first through third divided boost commands. The second and third divided boost commands are used when the PWM control is performed by turning on and off the switching elements for the second and third phases while the switching elements for the first phase continues to be on or off state is set larger than those used when the PWM control is performed by turning on and off the switching elements for the first through third phases.

摘要: A vehicle air conditioner including a refrigerant circuit that incorporates a variable displacement compressor driven by an engine of the vehicle. The air conditioner includes a control valve for varying the displacement of the compressor and an ECU for controlling the control valve. The control valve has a bellows, a valve body, and a coil. The ECU varies the displacement of the compressor by energizing the coil to apply a force, which counters the movement of the bellows, to the valve body to move the valve body. This alters the moved amount of the bellows. The air conditioner control unit gradually changes the force applied to the valve body by the coil to adjust the pressure difference and vary the displacement of the compressor when the engine is running at an idle speed.
