摘要： In a mechanism for driving a plurality of pin contacts of an edge connector of a memory card assembly in a lateral direction from positions adjacent to socket contacts to bring the pin contacts into contact with the socket contacts of a card receiving connector, the mechanism comprises a pin driving plate having a cam hole and pin contact receiving holes and laterally slidably mounted on the card receiving connector. An actuator rod is removably and rotatably mounted in the card receiving connector and is provided with an eccentric pin portion engaging with the cam hole so that the pin driving plate is laterally driven by engagement between the cam hole and the eccentric pin portion when the actuator rod is rotated. Thus, the pin contacts received in the pin contact receiving holes are brought into contact with the socket contacts. An actuator attachment preventing mechanism is provided for preventing the actuator rod from being inserted to the cam hole unless the memory card assembly is correctively fitted to the card receiving connector. A lock mechanism is further provided for locking the memory card assembly and the card receiving connector in a connected state.

摘要： A connector engaging/disengaging device comprises a plurality of carrier plates, a pair of side blocks, and a pair of sliders. Each of the carrier plates has lock springs holding cable connectors thereon, and a pair of engaging bosses engaging with the sliders. The sliders have slider grooves engaging with the bosses. Each of the side blocks supports each of said carrier plates slidable in vertical direction, and guides each of said sliders in horizontal direction, and supports a printed circuit board having mating connectors thereon. When the sliders slide in the horizontal-direction, slider grooves of the sliders push up or down the carrier plates to connect or disconnect cable connectors to the mating connectors.

The present invention specifically relates to a protein obtainable from a plant belonging to the genus Glychyrrhiza, which has an activity of oxidizing a dammarane-type triterpene, a gene encoding the same, and use of the protein and the gene. The protein is shown in SEQ ID NO:1, 2, or 13, and the gene encoding the same is shown in SEQ ID NO:3, 4, or 14, respectively. Furthermore, a transformant into which the gene is introduced can be produced, by which a triterpene oxidase can be obtained.

The disclosed anthocyanin 5-O-glucosyltransferases were isolated from Perilla fruescens, Verbena hybrida, Torenia hybrida, and Petunia hybrida. Also disclosed are genes that code for a protein having a modified amino acid sequence relative to the above amino acid sequence and having activity that transfers a glycoside to the 5 position of a flavonoid, and a process for producing the above protein using said gene. This gene can be used to artificially alter the color of plants.

摘要： In an electrical socket including a base for receiving a connection object in a predetermined direction, a plurality of contacts are held by the base and adapted to be contacted with the connection object. A partition wall (42) is formed integral with the cover insulator and positions the core wire to make the core wire face the base contact. When the cover insulator is moved towards the base insulator, the core wire becomes in press contact with the base contact.
