    摘要: A polymer composite comprises a base material, and a polymer membrane provided on at least a part of the base material, the polymer membrane having at least hydrophilicity, and the polymer composite is used in a state exposed to water or a water-based solvent. The polymer membrane is a resin film formed by photo-crosslinking a photosensitive resin composition consisting essentially of a water-soluble polymer, and during crosslinking of the photosensitive resin composition, some of photosensitive groups of the photosensitive resin composition are bound to amino groups fixed to the surface of the base material, whereby the resin film is fixed to the base material.

    摘要: A piston 14 for sliding in a cylinder 12, a rod 16 of the piston 14, and a sleeve 15 fitted over the rod 16 and passing through a rod hole 13 of the cylinder are provided. A lock portion 18 is provided to an outer periphery of a tip end portion of the rod 16. The sleeve 15 having an outer peripheral face for airtightly sliding in the rod hole 13 in the cylinder 12 and an inner peripheral face for airtightly sliding on an outer peripheral face of the rod 16 is provided with an engaging portion 22 on an inner end side to be engaged with an inside of the rod hole 13 of the cylinder and an engaging portion 23 at an outer end side to be engaged with the lock portion 18 of the rod 16. Supply/discharge ports 18A and 19A for supplying and discharging pressure fluid to and from pressure chambers 18 and 19 on opposite sides of the piston 14 in the cylinder are provided and intermediate stop is possible by supplying and discharging pressure fluid to and from the ports.

    摘要: The invention provides a rotary actuator having a rack driven in an oscillating manner by an air pressure, a pinion engaged with the rack, and a cushion mechanism for stopping the rack to at least one normal or inverse stroke end in a cushioning manner. The cushion mechanism has an exhaust port open to a pressure chamber at a position close to a chamber end rather than a port hole, a flow amount adjusting mechanism for restricting a flow amount of the exhaust air discharged from the exhaust port, and a cushion packing mounted to an outer peripheral surface of the piston and operating so as to shut the port hole from the pressure chamber immediately before the piston reaches the stroke end, thereby discharging the air within the pressure chamber through the flow amount adjusting mechanism.

    摘要: A high-frequency induction heater having a working coil for providing a high-frequency application of power to a sample is provided with a control circuit for controlling the amount of power to the working coil. A phase control member can be triggered to provide a first level of power to the sample to heat it below its combustion level, to thereby remove any exterior stains. Subsequently, a second level of power can be applied for a predetermined period of time to heat it to a combustion point whereby the combustion gases of the sample are free from any byproducts of the stain and an accurate measurement can be accomplished.
