Abstract: A blister pack for a inhalant medicator has a plurality of medical powder storage chambers spaced apart from each other in a circumferential direction. The inhalant medicator includes a pricking tool with a pair of parallel pins that prick inflow and outflow holes in one of the medical powder storage chambers during a preliminary operation of inhalant medication. The inflow and outflow holes are spaced apart from each other by a predetermined distance in a direction parallel to a lid panel of the blister pack to produce turbulent airflow within the medical powder storage chamber during inhalation during which the medical powder is inhaled by a patient's breathing. The medical powder storage chambers are dimensioned and designed to properly regulate or control properties of the airflow passing through the medical storage chamber, to ensure the airflow is suitable for the medical powder storage chamber.

Abstract: A diffusion chamber block 14 is provided in a block mounting hole 13A of an inhalant port 13, and a granular medicine diffusion chamber 17 is formed in the diffusion chamber block 14. Abstract: An inhaler type medicine administering device for administering fine granular medicine to the lungs of a patent. The medicine admimistering device comprises a generally cylindrical inhaling piece including a cylindrical holder accommodating section. First and second outside pin insertion holes are formed through the cylindrical wall of the holder accommodating section. A capsule holder is provided to be accommodable within the holder accommodating section of the inhaling piece. The capsule holder is formed with a capsule accommodating hole opened to its end section in which hole a capsule containing medicine is accommodable. First and second inside pin insertion holes are formed extending in the diametrical direction of the capsule holder so as to pass through the capsule accommodating hole. The first inside pin insertion hole is capable of being brought into alignment with the first outside pin insertion hole to form a first pin insertion hole. The second inside pin insertion hole is capable of being brought into alignment with the second outside pin insertion hole to form a second pin insertion hole. An inflow-side passage is located radially outward of the capsule accommodating hole and has a first open end opened at the one end section of the capsule holder, and a second open end connected with the first inside pin insertion hole. An outflow-side passage is located radially outward of the capsule accommodating hole and connects the inside second pin insertion hole to the inhaling opening. Additionally, a perforator is provided including first and second pins which are insertable respectively into the first and second pin insertion holes in order to form holes in the capsule accommodated in the capsule accommodating hole.

Abstract: An inhalation type medication delivery device includes a dispenser body having a powder containment chamber at one axial side thereof and an inhalation port for drawing in a powder type medication on the another. An attached lid is provided on the dispenser body for opening and/or closing the powder containment chamber. In addition, an air passage is defined in the body allowing a powder type medication to be introduced into an airflow toward the inhalation port according to inhalation by a user. One end of the air passage opens through the lid towards the outside atmosphere and the other end communicates with the inhalation port while passing through the powder containment chamber. Also, a check valve is installed in the lid to prevent air drawn into said inhalation port from flowing in an outward direction opposite a medication delivery direction toward the inhalation port. Additional efficiency may be achieved by further providing a supplementary passage communicating between the inhalation port and the outside atmosphere independently of the air passage to generate additional suction force during inhalation.
