    摘要： This invention offers a promoter derived from a yeast which can be used in a complete nutrient medium and is transcriptionally controllable by a PDR1 gene product. Thus, this invention offers a DNA which is represented by SEQ ID NO:1 in the Sequence Listing or a part thereof and has a promoter activity in yeast; a DNA which can be transcriptionally controllable by a PDR1 gene product and has the above-mentioned promoter activity; and a DNA which is hybridizable to the above-mentioned DNA and has a promoter activity in yeast.

The invention is useful in the diagnosis and treatment for diseases including mycoses.The invention also provides a novel chromosome integration vector capable of imparting a novel selective marker of a drug resistance to a fungal transformant, a transformant transformed with this vector and a process for producing the same. In particular, it provides a protein capable of imparting the resistance to aureobasidin and acting as a selective marker and a DNA coding for the same.

    摘要： A substantially pure, isolated, antigenic protein from fungi of the genus Malassezia, characterized in that said antigenic protein has a binding ability to IgE antibodies from patients with allergoses; an antigenic fragment derived from the antigenic protein; and an antibody against the antigenic protein or fragments thereof. According to the present invention, there can be provided an isolated and purified antigenic protein having high purity from Malassezia, antigenic fragments thereof, and a specific antibody against those antigenic protein or fragments thereof. In addition, there can be provided a diagnostic agent, a therapeutic agent, or a prophylactic drug for Malassezia allergoses, wherein the agent includes, as an active ingredient, the antigenic protein or fragments thereof.
