Each client sends information showing a perfume that should be emitted and information showing each stored perfume of its corresponding perfume emitting device to the perfume inquiry server and retrieves a perfume conversion table for converting the perfume that should be emitted into information showing a stored perfume. The client converts the perfume information contained in the contents retrieved from the WEB server into perfume information by referring to the perfume conversion table and controls perfume emission by the corresponding perfume emitting device based on the perfume information, thereby performing perfume emission.

According to this invention, a central portion of the meniscus opposed to the fine opening at the ejection outlet bulges, and the liquid is ejected in this state. Namely, very small amount of the liquid can be ejected, since not all of the liquid in the recess portion in the ejection outlet is ejected.

The thickness of the aforesaid resin layer covering the upper part of at least a portion of the aforesaid solid layer for the formation of the ink passages on the side which is different from the side where the solid layer for the formation of a liquid chamber exists is made thinner than the thickness of the aforesaid resin layer covering the upper part of the solid layer for the formation of the liquid chamber, hence providing a highly reliable ink jet head having an excellent property suitable for cutting process required for obtaining the discharging port portion precisely and accurately as well as a secure adhesion between the resin and the substrate.

An apparatus suitable for fabricating a substrate suitable for photoconductive members has a cylindrical rotating vessel surrounded by a housing which contains a plurality of rigid spheres therein. A substrate supporting means is placed within the cylindrical rotating vessel so as to be rotatable coaxially therewith. A supplying means for a surface coating liquid, such as polybutene, is placed at an upper position over the external wall face of the cylindrical rotating vessel. A reservoir for the surface coating liquid is placed at a lower position below the external wall face of the cylindrical rotating vessel. A means to circulate the surface coating liquid to the supplying means is employed.
