摘要: Oil level detecting switch, which detects an amount of lubricant oil stored in an oil pan, includes: a switch case having through-holes to permit entry and discharge of oil into and out of the switch case; a float of a spherical shape having smaller specific gravity than the oil and conductive outer surface and provided within the switch case for vertical movement in response to increase/decrease of the oil; and a plurality of fixed contacts provided on the bottom surface of the switch case such that the fixed contacts are placed in a conducting state by the float contacting the fixed contacts.

摘要: The engine equipped with a generator is provided. The stator fixed to the crankcase includes a plurality of iron cores arranged in the circumferential direction about the crankshaft, and coils that are wrapped around the plurality of iron cores. The rotor includes a flywheel that is fastened to the crankshaft by a fixing mechanism, and a plurality of permanent magnets fixed to the flywheel. The fixing mechanism mounts the flywheel on the crankshaft in a position in which the center of one permanent magnet among the plurality of permanent magnets coincides with the center point between two mutually adjacent iron cores among the plurality of iron cores when the piston is at the top-dead-center or the bottom-dead-center.

摘要: An engine (10) equipped with a generator (20) is provided. The stator (24) fixed to the crankcase (12) includes a plurality of iron cores (32a to 32l) arranged in the circumferential direction about the crankshaft (16), and coils (33) that are wrapped around the plurality of iron cores (32a to 32l). The rotor (42) includes a flywheel (25) that is fastened to the crankshaft (16) by a fixing mechanism (28), and a plurality of permanent magnets (26a to 26f) fixed to the flywheel. The fixing mechanism (28) mounts the flywheel (25) on the crankshaft (16) in a position in which the center of one permanent magnet (26a) among the plurality of permanent magnets (26) coincides with the center point between two mutually adjacent iron cores (32a and 32b) among the plurality of iron cores (32a to 32l) when the piston is at the top-dead-center or the bottom-dead-center.

摘要: In a capacitor-discharge ignition system for an internal combustion engine having a power generation coil, a capacitor connected to the power generation coil, an ignition coil having a primary winding connected to the capacitor through a thyristor and a secondary winding connected to a spark plug, and a microprocessor which turns on the thyristor at a predetermined crank angular position to produce ignition in the spark plug, an engine stop switch is installed to input an engine-stop command signal to the microprocessor when being turned off by the operator. With this, it becomes possible to surely stop the engine at any time if desired.

摘要: Oil level detection sensor detects an oil level in a crankcase. First charging circuit includes a serial connection of a first charging capacitor for charging a reverse voltage produced in a primary coil, the detection sensor, and a first diode. Thyristor is turned on, in response to voltage-charging of the first charging capacitor, to disable an ignition operation of an ignition circuit. Second charging circuit includes a serial connection of a second charging capacitor for charging a forward voltage, produced in the primary coil, and a second diode. Transistor is turned on, in response to voltage-charging of the second charging capacitor, to disable a turning-on operation of the thyristor.

摘要: The invention intends to downsize a general-purpose engine generator and make operability thereof easy. A backup battery (233) is provided for the generator (22). The battery supplies electricity to an electronic controlled device such as a fuel pump for starting the engine. When the engine (1) carries out a rating operation, electricity is supplied from the generator (22). When the engine speed is in a low speed range, only a pump (15) is driven. When the engine speed is exceeds the low speed range, the pump (15) is stopped, and an injectors (10) and (27) are driven to be prevented from lapping over each other. When the engine speed reaches a high-speed range, the pump (15) is again driven. Electricity consumption at a time of starting is restricted by driving the electronic controlled devices at different timings until the engine (1) executes a self-sustaining.

摘要: In an ignition coil for an internal combustion engine, the primary coil and the secondary coil of the coil unit are fabricated of self-welding wire and fixed in a coil case by an elastic material and an ignition control circuit unit is fixed in the coil case by an elastic material. Similarly, the primary coil and the secondary coil are integrally joined by an adhesive. The terminal of the primary coil and the lead of the ignition control circuit unit are joined together by fusion and the joint is partially molded, while the terminal of the secondary coil and the terminal of a high-tension cord outlet are joined together by fusing and the joint is partially molded. Moreover, the coil case is provided with an inner cap such that the fusing and partial molding of the terminals can be conducted on the inner cap, thereby ensuring a high recycle rate and enabling efficient resource recovery and reuse.
