    摘要: In a discharge tube, a conductive ferrule is provided on an end portion of a glass tube. The ferrule includes a body that is to be mounted to the outer circumference of the glass tube and has a contact portion to be electrically conductively fixed to a relay connector (or a bearing device). Further included is a conductive portion that extends from the body so as to have elastic contact with an outer lead. The outer lead will not be under load due to the weight of the discharge tube, but the conductive portion solely has elastic contact therewith. Thus, stress concentration on the outer lead can be prevented.

    摘要: Discharge tubes, each of which includes a glass tube and a ferrule that has a substantially cylindrical shape and is fitted to each end portion of the glass tube, are supported by a plurality of pairs of relay connectors (or supporting members) provided on the front side of a chassis having substantially a plate-shaped configuration. When a discharge tube is supported by relay connectors, stoppers provided on the relay connectors lock the ferrules so that axial movement of the discharge tube relative to the relay connectors is restricted.

    摘要: Relay connectors are arranged to supply power from power boards arranged on the back side of a chassis having a substantially plate-shaped configuration to discharge tubes arranged on the front side of the chassis. Each relay connector includes a holder having an insulation property and to be mounted to the chassis, and further includes a relay terminal mounted to the holder and capable of electrical connection to the discharge tube and the power board. The relay terminal is immune to direct contact with the chassis. This enables the use of a metallic chassis.

The output terminal 70 is arranged in an area of the housing 60 farther from the edge portion 17E of a circuit board 17 so that sectional arrangement is provided. The output terminal 70 is thus surrounded by the synthetic-resin housing 60, and thereby a leak at the output terminal 70 can be suppressed. Further, the output terminal 70 is arranged in the limited area of the housing 60 farther from the edge portion 17E of the circuit board 17, resulting in a long distance maintained between the output terminal 70 and the edge portion 17E of the circuit board 17, which can effectively prevent the leak.

The portion of the tube body is engaged in the engaging groove and substantially the entire length of the tube body is brought into surface contact with the inner surface of the engaging groove.

    摘要: In one embodiment of the present invention, a liquid crystal display of the present invention contains an LCD (1) and an LCD (2). Adjacent pairs of polarizers form crossed Nicols. When the LCD (1) produces a display from a first display signal, the LCD (2) produces a display from a second display signal obtained from the first display signal. The gate driver for the LCD (1) and the gate driver for the LCD (2) producing a display from the second display signal are disposed symmetric. Accordingly, flickering is reduced which otherwise would be clearly visible when the two liquid crystal panels are stacked. A liquid crystal display with high display quality is thus realized.

Therefore the bearing with a rotational sensor that is improved to allow easy assembly and compactness can be obtained.

    摘要: A feeding device including a cassette removably mounted in the main body of a copying machine to which the feeding device is adapted, a pivotal paper holding plate which is disposed within the cassette and capable of being raised, a lift member for raising the pivotal paper holding plate to an inclined dispensing position, disposed under the pivotal paper holding plate so as to pivot on a vertical plane, a rotary lift-up member for allowing the lift member to pivot thereon, the lift member being secured to the rotary lift-up member, a driving device for transmitting a driving force to the rotary lift-up member, a coupling device interposed in the driving device, for effecting and suspending the transmission of the driving force for rotating the rotary lift-up member, wherein when the cassette is taken out from the main body, the lift member pivots downward due to its own weight, thereby releasing the pivotal paper holding plate from its raised condition. With such an arrangement, even if the cassette is taken out from the main body when the pivotal paper holding plate is in its raised condition, the paper feeding end of the pivotal paper holding plate can be prevented from touching with the paper feed mechanism disposed within the main body, thereby avoiding damage to the contacted parts.
