摘要: A silver halide photographic emulsion is described, which has halogen composition comprises at least 60 mole % of silver chloride, 40 mole % or less of silver bromide, and 5 mole % or less of silver bromide. Grain formation is performed in the presence of a silver halide solvent selected from the group consisting of tetrasubstituted thioureas and organic thioethers, and from 10.sup.-8 to 10.sup.-5 mole of a water-soluble iridium compound per mole of silver halide. This photographic emulsion exhibits high sensitivity and provides high contrast even by flash exposure. Thus, it is useful for the production of light-sensitive materials to be used in the production of printing plates in accordance with photographic engraving.

摘要: A plurality of capacitor cells (10) are layered to form a cell group. On the top of each capacitor cell (10), a pair of electrode plates (10b) is formed to protrude upward. The adjacent electrode plates (10b) are connected to each other. A connection piece (20) protruding upward is attached to each of the electrode plates (10b). The connection piece (20) is connected to a circuit substrate (30). Thus, it is possible to effectively make a connection between the cell group of the capacitor cells (10) and the circuit substrate (30).

摘要: An apparatus manages a plurality of storage units forming a RAID. When a storage unit becomes defective, the apparatus determines whether the defective storage unit can be isolated from other storage units based on a configuration of the defective storage unit. If the defective storage unit can not be isolated, then the apparatus copies data from the defective storage unit a non-defective storage unit and then isolates the defective storage unit.
