摘要： Systems and methods are disclosed for locating the source of an acoustic event. In one exemplary implementation, there is provided a method of locating the source of an acoustic event by receiving/processing information from at least three sensors aerially deployed across an area to be monitored, wherein each of the at sensors has a microphone for detecting the acoustic event and a known location, the at least three aerial deployed sensors are networked, and time of arrival processing of the acoustic event is performed. In further exemplary implementations, an approximate location of the source of the acoustic event may be determined as a function of arrival time and sensor location data.

In one exemplary implementation, there is provided a method for processing gunshot information via identification of characteristics of detected gunfire. Moreover, the method may include detecting a particular gunshot event, deriving envelope information for the particular gunshot event, accessing one or more known envelopes associated with known gunshot events, and associating the particular gunshot event with a known weapon or known weapon types as a function of a comparison of the envelope information of the particular gunshot event with known envelope information associated with one or more known weapons. Other exemplary implementations may include comparing attack, sustain, and delay characteristics of the particular gunshot event with known attack, sustain, and decay characteristics associated with the known weapon.

The LED panel or board is mated to a heat dissipating apparatus to provide active cooling and together forming an LED engine. The LED engine is mounted to a slider allowing the LED engine to be adjusted within the housing with respect to the lens. Light shaping diffusion may be included on the housing. A power supply unit may also be included in the housing. When in electrical communication, the LED engine and power supply unit function as an integrated self-contained lighting apparatus. Optionally, the power supply may have an integrated dimmer switch, and may be capable of receiving PFC power or have an integrated battery unit.

摘要： A lighting apparatus comprises a light panel having a panel frame, and a plurality of LEDs or other light elements secured to the panel frame. The panel frame may be a portable frame. A self-contained battery unit securably attaches to the outside of the panel frame. The light panel may have a dimmer switch, and may also be capable of receiving power from a source other than the self-contained battery unit. The lighting apparatus can be mounted to a camera or a stand. The lighting apparatus may include an effects generator in communication therewith which generates a continuous light or a flash of light from the LEDs or other light elements. Diffusion lenses or color gels may be integrated with or detachable from the light panel.

摘要： The present invention provides a system for identifying and locating an acoustic event. In a preferred embodiment a gunshot detection sensor includes an audio sensor which detects gunshots in combination with a GPS engine which provides location and timing in conjunction with a host system. This allows an acoustic sensing weapon locator which is integrated for size and portability. The inventive mobile military gunshot detector requires a battery or fuel cell at its heart to operate. By managing the power consumption, batteries can be down-sized and the time between changes or recharges can be dramatically extended allowing soldiers to carry less weight and transport fewer replacement batteries into a hostile environment.

The codec including an analog to digital converter for receiving a first audio program and converting it to a first digital signal; a digital to analog converter for receiving a second digital audio signal and converting it to a second audio program; and, a control function for managing characteristics of the codec. The microcontroller is in electrical communication with the codec: for receiving the first digital audio signal from the codec and packetizing it into a first packet for transmission over a TCP/IP network; for receiving a second packet from network and converting it into the second digital audio signal and sending it to the codec; and for receiving control signals from the network.
