    摘要: The invention relates to a device having a sensor carrier, which comprises a sheet-metal element and a plastic element and on which a measuring element introduced into the flowing medium is disposed. The use of plastic, which for the most part covers the sheet-metal element, means closer tolerances, which improve the performance of the sensor carrier both in terms of its facing into the flow and experiencing a flow around it, for instance by providing it with an improved aerodynamic leading edge, or the measuring element can be mounted flush to the surface and flush with edges of a sensor cavern, so that no turbulence occurs in the medium in the region of the measuring element or flow under the measuring element. The sensor region of the measuring element is reliably protected by recesses in the longitudinal edges and by a special adhesive bonding process from a gel emerging from the electronic evaluation circuit, so that the measuring characteristic curve behavior is not altered.

    摘要: In devices for measuring the mass of aspirated air of an internal combustion engine, for instance, via a line, it is already known to provide a tubular body inside this line and to provide a temperature-dependent measuring element inside the tubular body. In order that dirt particles and liquid droplets entrained by the aspirated air will be kept away from the measuring element, in accordance with the invention, a protective screen is disposed inside the tubular body, upstream of the measuring element; the screen extends in inclined fashion in the flow direction, and dirt particles and liquid droplets are deposited on it and carried to a downstream end of the protective screen, so that via an outflow opening they can reach the inner conduit wall of the tubular body and be made to bypass the measuring element.

    摘要: A measurement device for measuring the mass of a medium flowing along a flow direction, in particular the intake air mass of an internal combustion engine, has a plate-shaped sensor element, which is inserted into a recess of a sensor support. The sensor element includes a membrane that supports a measuring element, which membrane encloses a hollow space embodied in the sensor element on the side remote from the sensor support. The sensor element is secured in the recess by means of a glue between the sensor support and a bottom face of the sensor element oriented toward the sensor support. According to the invention, the glue constitutes a glue seam that extends around the hollow space of the sensor element between the sensor support and the bottom face of the sensor element and is only open on the side remote from the flow direction by means of at least one recess in order to ventilate the hollow space.

    摘要: A flow meter for use in a flowing fluid medium includes at least one ultrasonic transducer and at least one measuring section having at least one flow pipe through which a fluid medium flows in a main direction of flow. The ultrasonic transducer is equipped to emit ultrasonic signals essentially parallel to the main direction of flow into the measuring section. The ultrasonic transducer is separated from the flow pipe by at least one thermal decoupling element. The thermal decoupling element is equipped to reduce heat transfer from the flow pipe to the ultrasonic transducer.

    摘要: To determine air mass flows, especially for controlling internal combustion engines, a hot-film air-mass sensor is provided, which may be used especially for sensing air mass flows in the intake tract of an internal combustion engine. The hot-film air-mass sensor has a sensor chip having a sensor frame and a sensor diaphragm having at least one heating element and at least two temperature sensors. Furthermore, the hot-film air-mass sensor has a chip carrier for mounting the sensor chip, as well as at least one additional heating element. The sensor chip is able to be heated up using the at least one additional heating element, which is inserted into the chip carrier. Compared to the usual devices, the hot-film air-mass sensor has a lower susceptibility to contamination, especially by oil films.
