    摘要: A liquid crystal driver is provided, in which a frame rate of an input image signal is multiplied by 2N (N is an integer of one or more); each frame is divided into N positive field(s) and N negative field(s) respectively; the image signal is supplied to a liquid crystal panel with a positive polarity in a positive field; and the image signal is supplied to the liquid crystal panel with a negative polarity in a negative field. The liquid crystal driver includes a corrected image signal generator configured to generate a corrected image signal having the same amount of correction added to the positive field and negative field. The corrected image signal is supplied to the liquid crystal panel with the positive polarity in the positive field and the corrected image signal is supplied to the liquid crystal panel with the negative polarity in the negative field.

    摘要: An interconnect structure for a display device includes a driver from which display data are supplied, and an interconnect material having a plurality of signal lines disposed in parallel through which the display data are supplied from the driver. In the interconnect structure for a display device, the signal lines from which the display data are transmitted via the interconnect material are rearranged such that the display data via the signal lines having a comparatively larger effect of the inductance components and the display data via the signal lines having a comparatively smaller effect of the inductance components in the interconnect material are alternately supplied to adjacent pixels or groups of pixels of the display device. As a result, an image is displayed based on the luminance suitable for the display data.

    摘要: An operational unit determines, for subfield(s) other than a last subfield of a plurality of subfields constituting a single frame period, based on a difference determined by a data comparison unit, exceeded display data for setting the transmittance of each pixel to a value exceeding a target transmittance corresponding to image data supplied anew. The operational unit also determines, for the last subfield of the single frame period, based on the difference determined by the data comparison unit, target display data for setting the transmittance of each pixel to the target transmittance. An overshoot operation or operations are performed within the single frame period, and each pixel is set to the transmittance corresponding to the image data. This makes it possible to avoid trails occurring in moving image display and enhance the appearance of moving image display with no increase in frame rate.
