While processing the premigration messages in order of receipt of each of the premigration messages, a cancel message indicating that premigration of a logical volume in the chain is to be cancelled is received. In response to determining that the logical volume whose premigration is to be cancelled has not already been transferred to physical storage media, premigration of the logical volume is cancelled by removing a premigration message for that logical volume from the set of premigration messages and premigration of each other logical volume in the chain of logical volumes is continued in order of receipt.

Further, the smart phone transmits a manual VNC request at the time when a manipulation for a VNC request is performed by a user. In contrast, the in-vehicle apparatus uses, as a start condition of starting a VNC connection, a reception of the automatic VNC request from a smart phone that is registered as a target of remote manipulation. In particular, when a plurality of smart phones are registered, the in-vehicle apparatus adds a reception of the manual VNC request from a smart phone into the start condition.

The in-vehicle terminal determines, in response to the detection of the occurrence of the emergency situation, whether the emergency notification in-vehicle terminal is operating by an electric power of a back-up battery. If it is determined that the emergency notification in-vehicle terminal is operating by the electric power of the back-up battery, the in-vehicle terminal transmits a minimum necessary amount of the emergency information to the center.

An interface engine having a prescribed interface relationship between an input, which is specified by at least one of the touch point and the fingertip, and an output to be outputted to the in-vehicle electronic device according to a combination of the input and the interface relationship. An alteration unit alters the interface relationship according to a detected traveling state of the vehicle.
