    摘要： According to one embodiment, a communication device includes a start-up signal reception unit that receives a start-up signal that a start node transmits for starting up a node to be started; a first interface connected to Ethernet; a second interface connected to Ethernet; a power reception unit that receives PoE power through the first interface; a PoE controller that receives the start-up signal and PoE power and gives a transmission instruction of a start-up power signal which is a PoE power signal having a signal pattern corresponding to the start-up signal; and a power transmission unit that receives the transmission instruction from the PoE controller and transmits the start-up power signal through the second interface.

    摘要： An access authorizing apparatus includes a receiving unit, a first transmitting/receiving unit, a token issuer and a transmitting unit. A receiving unit receives first approval information indicating that access to the resource in the device has been approved by an access approver, from the first application via the network. A first transmitting/receiving unit transmits an access approval request including the first approval information to the access approving apparatus, and receives access enable/disable information indicating whether the access to the resource by the first application is permitted, from the access approving apparatus. A token issuer, when the access enable/disable information indicates that the access to the resource is permitted, issues token information that gives authority to access the resource to the first application. A transmitting unit transmits the token information issued by the token issuer, to the first application.

    摘要： A packet transfer method at a node device in which the virtual channel merging is unnecessary at the label switch router even when the communication resource reservation or the high priority transfer is requested is disclosed. At each node, one or more virtual channels for a specific flow are set up toward all receivers regardless of whether each receiver requested a communication quality for the specific flow or not, upon receiving a message used in a procedure for reserving the communication quality for the specific flow that is transmitted from an upstream side to a downstream side on a route of the specific flow toward the receivers. Else, at each node, one virtual channel for a specific flow is set up toward at least one receiver, and transmitting messages indicating a need to set up virtual channels for the specific flow toward other receivers on a downstream side, upon receiving a message for requesting a communication quality for the specific flow that is transmitted from that at least one receiver to the sender toward an upstream side, such that a separate virtual channel set up procedure for setting up virtual channels for the specific flow toward the other receivers is activated among nodes on a route of the specific flow. Then, at each intermediate node, a transfer processing at a layer lower than a network layer is carried out according to a corresponding among the virtual channels.
