摘要: A force detecting device includes an insulative strain element, strain sensors, and leads. The insulative strain element is electrically insulative at least at its surface. The strain sensors are formed of a piezoresistive thin film and deposited as a piezoresistive thin film pattern on the surface of the insulative strain element integrally therewith. The leads are formed of a highly conductive thin film and deposited as a highly conductive thin film pattern on the surface of the insulative strain element integrally therewith.

摘要: An ink-jet printing device includes a recording head driven by a driving voltage waveform in a main scanning direction for recording an image on a recording medium fed into the printing device in a subscanning direction. A voltage level of the driving voltage waveform is controlled such that the voltage value is constant through a single scan of the recording head in the main scanning direction and different between different scans of the recording head in the main scanning direction.

摘要: A measuring pipe obtained by applying an insulating resin lining to the inside of a nonmagnetic pipe is employed. A through hole reaching the resin lining is made in the sidewall of the nonmagnetic pipe, and a signal electrode and a guard electrode are arranged in the through hole. The through hole is filled with an insulating vibration absorbing member so as to cover the periphery of the signal electrode and the guard electrode. A gelatinous substance of silicon resin, or the like, is employed as the vibration absorbing member, but liquid such as oil may be employed to liquid seal the signal electrode and the guard electrode in the through hole. Consequently, the electromagnetic flowmeter can be formed compact and its production is facilitated.

摘要: To ensure, with ease, airtightness of an internal cavity when connecting a shielded lead lines to the outside. Tubes are installed on the portions of shields of lead lines positioned at through passages of a packing. An adhesive agent is caused to flow between the tubes and the shields, to bond therebetween. Doing so maintains an airtight seal through the adhesive agent (an adhesive agent that is caused to penetrate the spaces in the meshes of the shields, and hardened therein) between the shields and the inner peripheral surfaces of the tubes of the lead lines through the inner peripheral surfaces of the through passages of the packing and the outer peripheral surfaces of the tubes of the lead lines being tightly sealed.

摘要: A body massaging apparatus of a circulated water current type to be used for lean figure beauty, comprises bathtub for storing therein water and accomodating therein at least one patient in a state close to a lying attitude with the face upward. The bathtub is formed with an inlet opening for introducing the water into the bathtub and an outlet opening for discharging the water from the bathtub. The inlet opening is positioned to confront the back of the patient's body, while the outlet opening is positioned opposite to the inlet opening. A circulating conduit for circulating the water through the bathub is disposed outside of the bathtub and connects the outlet opening with the inlet opening. A uniform current generator is provided in place in the circulating conduit to generate in the bathtub a uniform water current which flows in one direction from the inlet opening toward the outlet opening and is applied directly to the patient's back substantially in parallel to or at an acute angle to the longitudinal axis of the patient's body.

摘要: A semiconductor diffusion type force sensing apparatus includes a plate-like semiconductor substrate formed by a single crystal material, and a plurality of sensing elements each constituted by a substantially rectangular impurity-diffused region formed in the semiconductor substrate. The sensing elements have an electric resistance variable in accordance with a deformation thereof due to an external force exerted on the semiconductor substrate. The sensing elements are arranged in a direction in which a longitudinal direction of each of the sensing elements coincides with a crystal orientation of the semiconductor substrate having an external value of a longitudinal piezoresistance coefficient of the impurity-diffused region.

摘要: A device for detecting viscosity of a liquid which varies with time includes a first tank provided with an overflow section for maintaining a predetermined liquid height, and a second tank fluidly communicated to the first tank and provided with a restricted outlet, or orifice. While a liquid is circulated through the two tanks by a pump, a height sensor which is dipped in the liquid in the second tank senses a liquid height in the tank in terms of capacitance. The output of the height sensor is representative of a viscosity of the liquid.
