摘要: A peritoneal dialysis device displays on a graphical interface a plurality of parameters and any values currently assigned to the parameters, and in response to a user selecting one of the displayed parameters, allows the user to input a value to be assigned to one of the parameters. A value is set for a number of fills parameter or a dwell time parameter based on the value received from the user.

A value is set for a number of fills parameter or a dwell time parameter based on the value received from the user.Parameter values are set in a peritoneal dialysis device by receiving from a user a selection of a therapy type, receiving from a user values for a plurality of parameters, calculating a value for a plurality of additional parameters based on the values received from the user, determining whether values for one or more of the plurality of parameters or one or more of the additional parameters do not meet one or more criteria, and, if necessary, updating one or more of the values received from the user so that all of the values for the plurality of parameters and the additional parameters meet all the criteria.

摘要: An improved method for two point calibration of a tunable diode laser (TDL) spectrometer by the steps of (a) directing a first portion of the light from the TDL through a known gas to a first light detector as the current fed to the TDL is varied so that current values are determined for at least two known absorption peaks of the known gas; (b) while concurrently directing a second portion of the light from the TDL through a gas to be analyzed to a second light detector. In addition, an improved laser module for use in a TDL analyzer, the module defining a cavity therein across which cavity a portion of the light from a TDL is directed to collimation optics for collimating the light from the module wherein the improvement is a gas reference cell positioned at least partially in the cavity so that a portion of the light from the TDL that is not directed to the collimation optics is shown through a gas in the gas reference cell to a light detector.

摘要: A communication system comprises a receiver, which may generate broadcast coefficients that represent the characteristics of a channel using the channel information encoded in the segment synchronization units. The receiver may also use the channel information encoded in both the segment synchronization units and the field synchronization units to accurately determine the characteristics of a long channel.

摘要: A rangefinder for measuring a distance to a target includes a housing having a front wall, an opposed rear wall, first and second side walls disposed between the front and rear walls, an upper wall, and an opposed lower wall. The rangefinder also includes a transmission device for transmitting a signal towards a target, a receiving device for receiving a reflected signal from the target, and a distance measuring mechanism for determining the distance to the target using the transmitted signal and the reflected signal. A display device is in communication with the distance measuring mechanism for displaying the determined distance to the target. A solar power supply mechanism supplies solar power to operate the rangefinder, and includes a solar energy collector positioned on an outer surface of the housing that is operatively in communication with an energy storage device.

摘要: A medical stimulation lead is provided. The medical stimulation lead includes an elongated lead body including a substantially rounded cross-section and including a first biased portion forming a first section of the substantially rounded cross-section and a second biased portion forming a second section of the substantially rounded cross-section. A plurality of electrodes are provided connected to the elongated lead body. A restraining body is removably connected to the elongated lead body releasably exerting a force substantially counter to the biases of the first biased portion and the second biased portion. The retraining body releasably maintains the substantially rounded cross-section of the elongated lead body, wherein removal of the restraining body permits the first biased portion and the second biased portion to expand, dividing the substantially rounded cross-section. The present invention further provides a method for providing spinal cord stimulation and a stimulation lead including an elongated plate.
