    摘要: A color television picture tube of three in-line gun type wherein a ring-shaped ferrite permanent magnet or magnets are disposed around a neck portion of the tube, at least a pair of mutually-opposing pole pieces made of highly permeable magnetic material are provided within the tube neck portion as a part of the gun assembly so as to be magnetized by the ring magnet or magnets and to form an electron beam magnetic focusing lens system. In the picture tube, the pole pieces are each of a substantially elliptical cross section as viewed from a plane perpendicular to the tube axis, and spaces are provided between an inner wall of the tube neck portion and the pole pieces to accommodate support rods for gun assembling. There are selected to fall in particular ranges the ratio of the outer diameter to inner diameter of the permanent magnet, the ratio of the thickness to inner diameter thereof, the ratio of the thickness to gap length between the opposing pole pieces, and the ratio of the tube-axial length of the pole piece disposed on the side of a phosphor screen to the tube-axial length of the pole piece disposed on the side of cathode electrodes.

    摘要: An improved in-line type electromagnetic focusing cathode-ray tube which comprises magnetic yokes, a focusing magnetic field generating permanent magnet, a deflecting magnetic field control element and a cup-shaped spacer member for separating the magnetic yokes from the deflecting magnetic field control element. The deflecting magnetic field control element is disposed at a distance l.gtoreq.0.26 D from an end of the magnetic yoke closest to a fluorescent screen, where D is an outer diameter of the magnetic yoke, so that a beam spot on the fluorescent screen has substantially circular shape to attain an excellent focusing characteristic.

    摘要: At least two pairs of auxiliary coils are disposed externally on a deflection yoke at positions which are symmetric with respect to the central axis of a horizontal direction of said deflection yoke and which are separated from each other in the direction of the axis of a cathode ray tube. At least two pairs of auxiliary coils are respectively disposed in front of and at the back of the longitudinal center of a magnetic core. The auxiliary coils have a horizontal length which is longer than its another length. A horizontal deflecting current is supplied to the first pair of auxiliary coils in the direction in which unnecessary radiant magnetic fields generated in front of and at the back of the deflection yoke are suppressed, and a horizontal deflecting current is supplied to the second pair of auxiliary coils in the direction in which an unnecessary radiant magnetic field generated at the back of the deflection yoke is intensified. In consequence, unnecessary radiation can be suppressed simultaneously in front of and at the back of the deflection yoke by a correction apparatus which has a simple structure and which requires no large space.

    摘要: A deflection yoke for a CRT including a horizontal deflection coil having an axial length in an axial direction of the CRT in an installed position that is not less than 60 mm and not more than 80 mm, a vertical deflection coil having an axial length in an axial direction that ranges from 45 mm to 65 mm, and a core having an axial length in the axial direction that ranges from 25 mm to 45 mm. The subject deflection yoke prevents deterioration in horizontal and vertical deflection sensitivity in CRTs having a neck diameter that is greater than 22 mm and less than 26 mm with a deflection angle that ranges from 95 to 110 degrees. In an alternate embodiment a deflection yoke for a CRT including a horizontal deflection coil, a vertical deflection coil disposed outside of the horizontal deflection coil, and a core disposed outside of the vertical deflection coil wherein in an installed position of the yoke, an inner surface of the deflection yoke is circumscribed around a circle having a diameter of 56.5 mm and the horizontal deflection coil has a length thereof extending from the tube axial position to an opening end of the horizontal deflection coil ranges from 20.5 mm to 24.5 mm and a length thereof extending from the tube axial position to a neck end of the horizontal deflection coil ranges from 46 mm to 50 mm. The subject deflection yoke reduces neck shadow in color CRTs having a 95 to 105 degree deflection with a 400 to 420 mm diagonal and a neck having an outside diameter form 23.6 mm to 25.0 mm at a portion where the deflection yoke is attached.
