摘要: An apparatus for contacting fluid with material includes a processing device having a feed port and an effluent port for passing fluid through a cartridge having an inlet and an outlet, a cartridge position controller for positioning the cartridge between and removing the cartridge from between the feed port and the effluent port, a first seal for sealing between the feed port and the cartridge inlet, and a second seal for sealing between the effluent port and the cartridge outlet. A method for processing material includes loading material into a cartridge having an inlet and an outlet, positioning the cartridge between a feed port and an effluent port, sealing between the feed port and the cartridge inlet and between the effluent port and the cartridge outlet, flowing fluid through the cartridge and releasing the cartridge from between the feed port and effluent port.
