    Abstract: A display device according to an embodiment includes a substrate, a gate line and a data line on the substrate, a pixel connected to the gate line and the data line and including a thin film transistor (TFT) on the substrate, a planarization layer on the TFT, and a light emitting device including a first electrode and a second electrode, wherein the light emitting device comprises a first portion and a second portion opposite to the first portion, the first portion including the first and second electrodes, wherein the TFT comprises a gate electrode, a semiconductor layer, a source electrode, and a drain electrode, and wherein the first portion of the light emitting device is not overlapped with the TFT.

    Abstract: Disclosed is a light emitting diode display device in which a process time taken in a process of connecting a light emitting device to a pixel circuit is shortened. The light emitting diode display device includes a pixel including a driving thin film transistor (TFT) on a substrate, a first planarization layer covering the pixel, a concave portion in the first planarization layer, a light emitting device in the concave portion and including a first electrode and a second electrode, a second planarization layer covering the first planarization layer and the light emitting device, a pixel electrode electrically connected to the driving TFT and the first electrode of the light emitting device, and a common electrode electrically connected to the second electrode of the light emitting device. The pixel electrode and the common electrode are on the second planarization layer.

    Abstract: A display device can include a substrate on which a semiconductor element and a common electrode are disposed; a light emitting diode which is disposed on the substrate and includes an n-type layer, a light emitting layer, and a p-type layer; an insulating layer disposed on the substrate and the light emitting diode; and a first connecting electrode which is connected to the light emitting diode and the semiconductor element. Accordingly, it is possible to minimize defects which can be caused during a process of disposing the light emitting diode on the substrate.
