A method for reporting channel state information of a terminal comprises: a step of measuring CSI-RS transmitted from a base station; and a step of reporting CSI generated on the basis of the CSI-RS measurement to the base station, wherein the CSI comprises: a PMI for indicating a precoding matrix from a codebook and an RI for indicating a rank, wherein the PMI comprises a first PMI for a beam group selected by the terminal and a second PMI which comprises a beam sub-group selection information for beams included in the beam group and phase-matching information for each antenna port polarization for the selected beam sub-group, and wherein as the rank increases, the phase-matching information may be indicated with different granularity from each other depending on whether the beam sub-groups selected from the beam group are the same or different.

A method for constructing a codebook in a multiple-antenna wireless communication system and an apparatus therefor are disclosed. Specifically, constructing a codebook in a multiple-antenna wireless communication system comprises the steps of: receiving parameters for constructing a codebook from a base station; and constructing a codebook using the parameters for constructing the codebook, wherein the parameters for constructing the codebook may include a phase value (α) of a first code vector forming the codebook, a phase difference (β) between code vectors that are adjacent to one another within the codebook, and the number of bits (γ) that is required when feeding back a code vector selected thin the codebook.

A method for transmitting/receiving signals by a UE based on a codebook in a multi-antenna wireless communication system according to an aspect of the present invention includes: receiving a channel state information reference signal (CSI-RS) from a base station through multiple antenna ports; and reporting channel state information to the base station, wherein the channel state information includes a precoding matrix indicator (PMI) for indicating a specific code vector among a plurality of code vectors included in the codebook, wherein elements included in each code vector included in the codebook are selected from elements of a predetermined circular vector using an azimuth angle of the UE with respect to the base station and an oversampling factor.

A method for performing, by a UE, channel estimation in a wireless communication system includes: receiving, from an eNB, a control message including reference signal transmission pattern information representing a transmission pattern of a channel estimation reference signal (RS) transmitted through antenna ports; receiving the reference signal from the eNB on the basis of the received reference signal transmission pattern information; measuring a channel per antenna port of the eNB on the basis of the received reference signal; and feeding back channel state information related to the measured channel to the eNB.

The method includes receiving information about a preferred beamforming vector in a first subframe from the user equipment, selecting a first random beamformer corresponding to the first subframe from a beamforming vector set for the first subframe, using the information about the preferred beamforming vector, transmitting a downlink signal to the user equipment in the first subframe using the first random beamformer, selecting a second random beamformer corresponding to a second subframe, using the first random beamformer, and transmitting a downlink signal to the user equipment in the second subframe using the second random beamformer.

A method in which a User Equipment (UE) measures a downlink signal in a wireless communication system is disclosed. The method includes receiving information about a Beam Direction Pattern (BDP) of the downlink signal and measuring the downlink signal based on the information about the BDP. The information about the BDP includes an index of a subframe in which the downlink signal is to be transmitted using a specific BDP and includes an identifier (ID) of the specific BDP. The BDP of the downlink signal is switched according to the subframe index based on the information about the BDP.
