摘要: A head-mounted display (HMD) apparatus comprising at least one optical system, each optical system comprising a lens having a reflective optical surface and an HMD device associated with and distanced from the reflective optical surface. The HMD device comprises a substrate having horizontal and/or vertical convex curvatures having a curved geometric profile which continuously curves with smooth transitions in horizontal and/or vertical dimensions. The curved profile is dimensioned to curve around a temple of a wearer and extend in a direction toward an ear of a wearer. The substrate comprising a plurality of pixel elements arranged along the horizontal convex curvature and being controlled to selectively radiate light representative of computer-generated content (CGC) to the associated reflective optical surface such that those selected pixel elements for display emanate rays of the light for subsequent reflection from the reflective optical surface toward a respective one eye of the wearer.

摘要: A system comprising a device including a chromakeyed tactile touch-sensitive surface (TTSS) and touch-sensitive input (TSI) circuit to sense touch applied to the TTSS by a hand. A processor registers a location of a chromakey mask, the device, and a virtual portal location within a virtual reality (VR) scene including virtual pixels of virtual user-interactive simulator (VUIS) controls. The processor detects and isolates, within the mask, first pixels having a non-chromakey color overlapping the chromakey mask and second pixels matching a color of the chromakey mask. The first pixels are preserved to form a pass-through image. A composite mixed reality scene is formed with the VR scene and preserved pixels registered to the VR scene. Those VUIS controls corresponding to the preserved pixels are omitted from the VR scene and remaining virtual pixels of the VUIS controls overlap and link to the TSI circuit.

摘要: A method comprising detecting, by a processor, an optical sight of a device in range of a lens of a head mounted display (HMD) apparatus. The lens has an HMD field of view (H-FOV) of a real-world view. The method comprises determining, by the processor, a magnification factor of a sight field of view (S-FOV) for the detected sight. The method includes displaying, by a display device of the HMD apparatus, computer generated data (CGD) in the S-FOV relative to a magnification level according to the magnification factor of the S-FOV of the real-world view while looking through the sight. A system and computer readable medium are also provided.

摘要: A projectorless simulator that includes an adjustable frame is disclosed. The adjustable frame defines an interior volume, and is adjustable in width and height to allow a shape of the interior volume to be varied. A chromakey screen is coupled to the adjustable frame to at least partially enclose the interior volume. A plurality of lights is mounted with respect to the adjustable frame. The plurality of lights is configured to emit light in a direction toward the chromakey screen.

摘要: A head-mounted display (HMD) device is disclosed. The HMD device includes a frame and a display system coupled to the frame. A stereo depth camera system coupled to the frame generates stereo depth camera information comprising frames of imagery and depth data that identifies a distance to a simulator cockpit of a simulator. A processor device is coupled to the stereo depth camera system and to the display system. The processor device identifies, based on the stereo depth camera information, a particular cockpit model that corresponds to the simulator cockpit and that identifies a layout of cockpit controls of the simulator cockpit. The processor device, based at least in part on the cockpit model and a physical location of the simulator cockpit, generates computer-generated imagery. The processor device sends the computer-generated imagery to the display system to overlay the computer-generated imagery on top of a portion of a real-world scene.

摘要: A head-mounted display (HMD) device is disclosed. The HMD device includes a frame and a display system coupled to the frame. A stereo depth camera system coupled to the frame generates stereo depth camera information comprising frames of imagery and depth data that identifies a distance to a simulator cockpit of a simulator. A processor device is coupled to the stereo depth camera system and to the display system. The processor device identifies, based on the stereo depth camera information, a particular cockpit model that corresponds to the simulator cockpit and that identifies a layout of cockpit controls of the simulator cockpit. The processor device, based at least in part on the cockpit model and a physical location of the simulator cockpit, generates computer-generated imagery. The processor device sends the computer-generated imagery to the display system to overlay the computer-generated imagery on top of a portion of a real-world scene.
