摘要: A method and a device for monitoring a cable system in the field of communications are provided. An optical signal emitted by an optical source to a transmission link of the cable system is divided into two paths of optical signals, in which one path of optical signals serve as local coherent light, and the other path of optical signals are transformed by multipath frequency shift to multiple paths of detection optical signals of different frequencies. A monitoring result is obtained by performing coherent detection, with the local coherent light, on the returned optical signals of the multiple paths of detection optical signals of different frequencies. The device includes an optical source, a multipath frequency shift module, and a coherency module.

摘要: The current invention discloses methods to treat disease caused by virus infection, bacterial infection, parasites infection, autoimmune disease, disease caused by production of unwanted antibodies, sepsis as well as methods to treat cancer and methods for virus infection detection using blood purification method. The current invention provides a method to treat pathogen infection by inactivating the pathogens in the blood. During the treatment, blood is withdrawn from a patient and is separated into its plasma and cellular components. The plasma portion is treated with physical means such as UV radiation to inactivate the pathogens inside and then is returned to the patient. The current invention also provide a method to treat cancer especially to prevent tumor metastasis and tumor recurrence by removing and/or inactivating (e.g. killing) the circulating tumor cells (CTC) in the blood after removing the tumor or treating the tumor with therapeutical means.

摘要: A system and method are provided for psychographically profiling a target population of individuals, programmably implemented in a server apparatus. The psychographic segmentation portion includes a questionnaire processing part, a segment solution part, and a typing tool part. The questionnaire processing part acquires a plurality of responses to a predetermined set of questionnaire questions by an initial pool of target population members. The questionnaire processing part uses a combination of weighted statistical methodologies to arrive at a rule-based decision on whether the question would serve as a good wedge variable. Optionally, the rule based decision is then compared to an expert's opinion and the weights and threshold parameters of the weighted statistical combination are adjusted accordingly to more accurately match the expert's decision. The identified wedge variables are used for effectively segregating the target population into groups of homogenous individuals. The typing tool part selectively generates an abbreviated set of questions from the predetermined set of questionnaire questions for profiling an individual respondent to at least one of the segments.

摘要: A server backplate includes a plate, a power connector, a first connector and a second connector. The plate includes a top surface, a first surface, and a second surface opposing the first surface. The top surface connects the first surface and the second surface. The power connector is arranged on the first surface and configured to couple to a power supply unit. The first connector is arranged on the first surface and configured to couple to a first storage device. The second connector is arranged on the second surface and configured to couple to a second storage device. The power connector is electrically connected to the first connector and the second connector, and the first connector is closer to the top surface than the second connector.

摘要: A computer case includes a housing, a first sub housing, and a second sub housing. The housing includes a bottom wall, a sidewall and a fixing wall extending perpendicularly from the bottom wall, all of which cooperate to form a receiving space. The first sub housing is configured for receiving a redundant power supply. The second sub housing is configured for receiving a single power supply. Each of the first sub housing and the second sub housing is capable of being detachably received in the receiving space and secured to the housing.
