    摘要： Molybdenum metal powder has surface-area-to-mass-ratios in a range of between about 1.0 meters2/gram (m2/g) and about 3.0 m2/g, as determined by BET analysis, in combination with a particle size wherein at least 30% of the particles are larger than a size +100 standard Tyler mesh sieve. A method for producing molybdenum metal powder includes providing a supply of ammonium molybdate and a reducing gas; causing an exothermic reaction between the ammonium molybdate and the reducing gas at a first temperature to produce an intermediate reaction product and a supplemental reducing gas; causing an endothermic reaction between the intermediate reaction product and the reducing gas at a final temperature to produce the molybdenum metal powder.

In addition, molybdenum metal powder 10 may be further distinguished by flowability in a range of between about 29 seconds/50 grams (s/50 g) and about 64 s/50 g, as determined by a Hall Flowmeter. A method of producing molybdenum powder may comprise providing a supply of ammonium molybdate, heating the ammonium molybdate at an initial temperature in the presence of a reducing gas to produce an intermediate product, and heating the intermediate product at a final temperature in the presence of the reducing gas, producing molybdenum metal powder.

    摘要： A chromatography cartridge for use in a chromatography stand comprises a tube for containing chromatography media. An end cap is adapted to fit in an end of the tube for closing the end of the tube. The end cap has a generally cylindric body having an external axial surface at least partially received in the tube and an outer face. At least one protrusion extends from the external axial surface of the body. The protrusion is shaped and arranged to contact an interior surface of the tube to form a fluid-tight connection between the end cap and the tube.

    摘要： A ski boot assembly may include an outer shell having a relatively hard portion and a relatively soft portion. A cuff may be attached to the hard portion for pivot action relative to the outer shell. The cuff may extend around the outer shell, leaving an instep cover of the soft portion exposed. The cuff may include overlapping portions that are hinge coupled to the cuff. A flex bar may be inserted into a shaft of the hard portion. A bootboard may be situated above the sole plate, and be provided with ridges. A shoe can be inserted into the outer shell. The sole of the shoe may be provided with grooves that receive the ridges of the bootboard. A locking mechanism can be mounted on the hard portion of the outer shell to selectively engage with the heel of the shoe.

    摘要： A method for producing a metal article according to one embodiment may include: Providing a supply of a sodium/molybdenum composite metal powder; compacting the sodium/molybdenum composite metal powder under sufficient pressure to form a preformed article; placing the preformed article in a sealed container; raising the temperature of the sealed container to a temperature that is lower than a sintering temperature of molybdenum; and subjecting the sealed container to an isostatic pressure for a time sufficient to increase the density of the article to at least about 90% of theoretical density.
