摘要： A motor vehicle is disclosed having a safety belt assigned to a seat and having an airbag system which is assigned to the same seat and has a pressure gas source which can be actuated by means of a deceleration sensor. In order to optimize protection for the seat user in the event of an accident, the invention proposes that at least two pressure gas sources which can be actuated independently of one another are provided, and in that in the event of an accident only one pressure gas source can be actuated by means of the deceleration sensor when the safety belt is being worn, while when the safety belt is not being worn all the pressure gas sources can be actuated so that it is only in this case that the maximum airbag internal pressure is available.

摘要： A passive restraining system for an automobile provides a means, in the event of an automobile accident, for inflating an air bag system on the driver's side at a lower threshold speed if the driver is not wearing a seat belt, and at a higher threshold speed if the driver is wearing a seat belt. This system, however, allows a second air bag system to inflate for protecting the front seat passenger in the event of an accident, at the lower threshold speed, regardless of whether the passenger is wearing a seat belt or not.

摘要： A receptacle arrangement for an air bag which protects a vehicle occupant from an impact onto parts of the vehicle interior, has a covering which is fixed to a base plate and covers an air bag container. The covering folds out along a hinge axis of a hinge in the edge region of the air bag container during the unfolding of the air bag, after which it exposes a container aperture for the passage of the bag fabric into an inflated position in front of the vehicle occupant. The covering has, in addition to the first hinge, two further hinges which bound the first hinge on both sides, are approximately perpendicular thereto and have a clearance from the lateral edges of the covering. Thereby, two lateral covering flaps are formed which subdivide the swivellable covering.

The restraining device is formed by a cover plate over the receptacle which is connected to the vehicle by short limiting straps, so that on unfolding the air bag extends around the periphery and in the direction of the vehicle occupant in front of the cover plate.

摘要： A triggering mechanism for a side airbag has a deformation sensor for determining a rate of deformation. The deformation sensor is made up of a total of two pressure-sensitive sensor elements, which are attached on a firm carrier plate parallel to the outer skin inside the vehicle. Spacer elements support the carrier plate against a structural element running parallel to the outer skin. The pressure-sensitive surface of a first sensor element in this case faces the outer skin and the pressure-sensitive surface of a second sensor element faces the structural element. The spacer elements are designed, for example, using predetermined buckling points, clip elements, etc., in such a manner that they withstand a pressure on the support plate only up to a threshold and, if the threshold is exceeded, yield abruptly. This is so that, in the event of a deformation-induced force effect, the sensor elements respond one after the other. An evaluation circuit checks the time interval between the two sensor signals and, below a critical time, sends a triggering signal to the side airbag.

摘要： An anti-collision cushion is disclosed for the occupants of a motor vehicle. Known anti-collision cushions are constructed with a central part which is connected to two side parts of equal size. A tearing fold which reduces the volume capacity, and which is formed by a rip seam, is provided on the surface of the central part. In the deployment phase an expansion occurs with high velocities in the region of the side parts, which may result in injuries to the occupant in some circumstances. In the novel anti-collision cushion the rip seams connect the connecting seams which are contiguous in the region of the tearing fold between the central part and the side parts. A reduction of the expansion and of the expansion velocity, particularly in the region of the side parts, is thereby achieved.
