Abstract:
In a winding method of a sheet member for winding a sheet member having an inclined side portion 7a inclined with respect to a longitudinal direction at least on one side in the longitudinal direction around a winding cylinder 50 in more than one turn from a tip end of the inclined side portion 7a as a winding start tip, winding of the sheet member is started in a small-diameter portion 51a of the winding cylinder 50 to which a radial difference is given by providing a step 54 to make a diameter smaller on one side in an axial direction and larger on the other side in the axial direction.
Abstract:
In a filament winding method, while a rotating tank relatively reciprocates in a tank axial direction to a helical winding head, fibers are fed from yarn-feeding sections to the tank. After the tank turns back in the tank axial direction, a large number of fibers are wound around one domed portion and a trunk portion of the tank, and trailing ends of the large number of fibers are located at one end portion of the trunk portion. Then a piece or a small number of fibers are fed from a rotating hoop winding head to the trunk portion, and hoop winding is performed on helical winding layers formed around the trunk portion. Then, at the one end portion of the trunk portion, the large number of fibers pulled from the yarn-feeding sections of the helical winding head are cut off.
Abstract:
A method of producing a reinforced rubber hose, including the steps of continuously extruding a long plastic mandrel from a plastic material and feeding the extruded plastic mandrel, extruding an unvulcanized inner rubber tube on the long plastic mandrel, forming a tubular reinforcing layer on the unvulcanized inner rubber tube, extruding an unvulcanized outer rubber tube on the tubular reinforcing layer, vulcanizing the unvulcanized rubber tubes, thereby preparing a long rubber hose formed on the long plastic mandrel, cutting the long rubber hose into short rubber hoses having a predetermined length, while concurrently cutting the long plastic mandrel into short plastic mandrels, removing the short plastic mandrels from the short rubber hoses, and crushing the short plastic mandrels into a starting form of the plastic material, and returning the starting form of the plastic material to an extruder for continuously extruding the long plastic mandrel.
Abstract:
A filament winding device includes: a helical winder which winds a fiber bundle around a liner; a bobbin supporting shaft which rotatably supports a bobbin for providing the fiber bundle to the helical winder and a bobbin different from the bobbin in a state in which winding-initiation ends of the fiber bundle wound around the bobbin and winding-termination ends of the fiber bundle wound around the bobbin connect to each other; and a fiber bundle storage unit. The fiber bundle storage unit has a stopper which can switch the fiber bundle storage unit between a storage state in which the fiber bundle is stored in the fiber bundle storage unit and a storage-released state in which the fiber bundle has been released from storage in the fiber bundle storage unit and the fiber bundle is supplied from the fiber bundle storage unit to the helical winding unit.
Abstract:

Abstract:
There is described a machine for the winding of tubular products, preferably with tensioned wires (8), including at least one disc (51-52) assembled to rotate on a base structure (2), a motor (9) adapted to drive the rotation of the disc (51-52, 101-103), a plurality of coils (3) assembled to rotate on supports (4) integral with said disc (51-52) and tensioning means (18, 30-31, 40-42), adapted to maintain the tension of the wires (8) constant during the winding of the tubular product (20). Said machine also includes a plurality of driving motors (5) associated to respective coils (3), adapted to feed the wires (8) and operating means (70) and potentiometers (19), adapted to control the unwinding speed of the wires (8) from the coils (3), which are driven by the motors (5).
Abstract:
In the case where a lengthy rubber material (R) is wound on a winding roll (30) mounted on a moving cart (20), the invention prevents excessive bonding of the rubber material between respective layers and is capable of pulling out and supplying the rubber material as wound without a problem, and the lengthy rubber material (R) continuously extruded in a lengthy manner from a rubber extruder to be fed to a winding position is wound to be made spiral with alternately reverse inclination every layer while being caused by a traverse guide to traverse to the winding roll (30) mounted on the cart (20) in accordance with rotation of the roll.
Abstract:
Apparatus for forming a flexible tubing (S) from a single-ply or multi-ply web (B) as it is continuously advanced includes two size-defining metal plates (9, 10) which define the width of the flattened tubing and are substantially parallel to each other and are movably mounted in the machine frame (1, 2, 3) and have receiving end portions about which the web is deflected to raise edge portions of the web which are to be infolded to overlap each other. The plates are adjustable by a screw (34) or the like to control the distance between their receiving end portions. The plates are provided at their delivery end portions with straps (17) or the like for controlling the distance between the plates. In order to permit after a change of size a simple adjustment of the size even when the apparatus is in operation, each of the two straps or arms (17) has a free end portion, which is longitudinally slidably guided relative to the machine frame (1, 2, 3) by guides (27, 28) and fixed in position relative to the machine frame.
Abstract:
Apparatus for manufacturing poles of reinforced plastics material by advancing a prefabricated hollow core of plastics material coaxially with a plurality of resin impregnated reinforcing threads, the threads being held tight and radially distributed around the core and being caused to adhere thereto, spirally winding at least one impregnated reinforcing thread around to at least partially cover the core and impregnated reinforcing threads during their advance, and leaving the core and the impregnated reinforcing threads to harden to obtain the union of the threads with the core.
