    摘要: An air amount estimating apparatus in an internal combustion engine having a supercharger that estimates with high accuracy an amount of air drawn into a cylinder without involving an increased calculation load. The air amount estimating apparatus estimates a cylinder air amount through calculation that incorporates a physical model representing air flowing behavior through an intake path. When, at this time, a ratio of throttle downstream pressure to throttle upstream pressure as calculated with the physical model is smaller than a reference ratio, a throttle flow rate is calculated using an equation of throttle based on the throttle upstream pressure, the throttle downstream pressure, and a throttle opening. When the ratio of the throttle downstream pressure to the throttle upstream pressure is greater than the reference ratio, the throttle flow rate is calculated using a linear interpolation equation based on a compressor flow rate and an intake valve flow rate.

    摘要: An object of the present invention is to improve the accuracy of predicting an in-cylinder intake air amount in a control device that predicts an in-cylinder intake air amount of a supercharged engine and controls the supercharged engine based on the predicted value, and particularly the accuracy during transient operation. To achieve this object, the present control device calculates a predicted value of a supercharging pressure based on a predicted value of a degree of throttle opening using a physical model of the supercharged engine, and also calculates a correction amount thereof. When calculating the correction amount, a measurement value of the supercharging pressure measured by a supercharging pressure sensor is acquired, and an estimated value of the supercharging pressure is calculated based on a measurement value of a degree of throttle opening using a physical model of the supercharged engine. A difference between the measurement value and the estimated value of the supercharging pressure is calculated, and the difference is adopted as a correction amount for the predicted value of the supercharging pressure. The present control device calculates a predicted value of the in-cylinder intake air amount based on the corrected predicted value of the supercharging pressure and a predicted value of the degree of throttle opening.

From a difference between the estimated value of the intake valve passing air amount and the estimated value of the in-cylinder air amount, the estimated value of the scavenging amount is calculated.

The control device includes means which controls fuel injection by a fuel injection device, and means which controls the throttle. The fuel injection control means sequentially restarts fuel injection for each cylinder in accordance with an ignition sequence among cylinders when cancellation conditions of fuel cut are satisfied during implementation of the fuel cut. Meanwhile, the throttle control means firstly controls the throttle to a closing side when the cancellation conditions of fuel cut are satisfied. The throttle is controlled to the closing side, whereby the air amount in the intake pipe is decreased, and the air amount in a cylinder which is the basis of calculation of a fuel injection amount is also decreased.

The control device includes means which controls fuel injection by a fuel injection device, and means which controls the throttle.
