摘要: This invention relates to an organic aluminum complex manifesting excellent performance when used in an organic EL device and to a process for preparing said complex. The organic EL material of this invention comprises an organoaluminum complex which generates heat of 2 J/g or less In the range of 350-400° C. and absorbs heat of 70-120 j/g, in the range of 400-450° C., with the maximum of an endothermic peak being located near 420° C. on analysis by differential scanning calorimetry. The organic EL material can be obtained by refining the raw material (8-quinolinolato)aluminum by sublimation under reduced pressure of 20 Torr or less while maintaining the temperature in the sublimation zone above 300° C. and below 420° C. and the temperature in the product recovery zone above 100° C. and below 250° C.

摘要: A method for treating a water-containing waste oil comprising oils, water and solid constituents and forming a water-in-oil emulsion, which comprises adding to the water-containing waste oil having an aromatic oil ratio A as represented by the following formula: ##EQU1## at least 1% by weight, on the basis of the weight of the water-containing waste oil, of a treating oil having an aromatic oil ratio B(.vertline.A-B.vertline.>0.5 and excluding 0.4.ltoreq.B.ltoreq.0.6) thereby to separate the oil content.

摘要: This invention relates to a method for sublimation refining which gives a high-purity product in high yield while preventing corrosion of the apparatus, contamination of the product and change in quality of the product and to an apparatus useful for the method. The apparatus of this invention for sublimation refining comprises a heat generating unit made of a material generating heat by electromagnetic induction, sublimating unit A and collecting units B and C, respectively independently controllable in temperature by electromagnetic induction heating and the inner surface or the inner tube of the sublimating or collecting unit is made of a material like metal and ceramic inert to sublimable substances. According to the method of this invention for sublimation refining, a sublimable substance is introduced to sublimating unit A, the sublimating unit is heated by electromagnetic induction thereby sublimating the sublimable substance, the sublimate is introduced to collecting unit B containing a zone controlled in temperature by electromagnetic induction heating and the object sublimable substance is collected.

摘要: Perfluorobicyclolactam compounds represented by the general formula: ##STR1## wherein --A-- stands for ##STR2## l, m, and n respectively stand for 0 or 1, 3 or 4, and 1 or 2, and R.sub.f stands for a lower perfluoroalkyl group, are novel compounds. These compounds are useful as intermediates for the synthesis of, e.g., functional macromolecular membranes and lubricants. These compounds are produced by subjecting compounds of the general formula: ##STR3## and fuming sulfuric acid to a thermal reaction.
