摘要: Systems and methods for processing salt water and/or solutions containing salt water with RF energy. Exemplary systems and methods may use RF energy to combust salt water, to produce hydrogen from salt water or solutions containing salt water, to volatilize a secondary fuel present in solutions containing salt water, to produce and combust hydrogen obtained from salt water or solutions containing salt water, to volatilize and combust secondary fuel sources present in solutions containing salt water, to desalinate seawater, and/or to carry out the electrolysis of water are presented. An exemplary system may comprise a reservoir for containing a salt water solution or salt water mixture; a reaction chamber having an inlet; a feed line operatively connecting the reservoir to the inlet of the reaction chamber; an RF transmitter having an RF generator in circuit communication with a transmission head, the RF generator capable of generating an RF signal absorbable by the salt water solution or the salt water mixture having a frequency for transmission via the transmission head; and an RF receiver; wherein the reaction chamber is positioned such that some of the salt water solution or salt water mixture is positioned between the RF transmission head and the RF receiver.

And, systems comprising: a catalyst source evaporator that provides a first stream to a reactor; a hydrocarbon source that provides a second stream to the reactor; a cooling column coupled to the reactor via a third stream comprising hydrogen, catalyst liquid, solid carbon, optionally catalyst gas, and optionally unreacted hydrocarbon gas such that the cooling column receives the third stream from the reactor; and wherein the cooling column has effluent streams that include (a) a fourth stream that comprises hydrogen and optionally catalyst gas and (b) a fifth stream that comprises catalyst liquid.

摘要: An incinerator system includes an evaporator tank having a fluid inlet, a steam vent, and an evaporation cavity and a heating assembly having a plurality of heating rods mounted on a rod spacing mechanism and disposed in the evaporation cavity of the evaporator tank. The rod spacing mechanism is configured to move the plurality of heating rods within the evaporation cavity. The incinerator system also includes a sensor system having a plurality of sensors positioned to perform one or more sensor measurements in the evaporation cavity and a programmable logic controller communicatively coupled to the sensor system and the heating assembly. The programmable logic controller is configured to instruct the rod spacing mechanism to move at least one of the plurality of heating rods based on the one or more sensor measurements.

摘要: A method of extracting an essential oil from plant matter, starting with providing plant matter to an interior of an extraction vessel, wherein the plant matter includes at least one essential oil. Next, at least one vacuum pump is used to reduce the pressure within the interior of the extraction vessel with the plant matter therein to an absolute pressure of less than 1.0 mm Hg absolute pressure. Microwave energy is applied to the plant matter while the interior of the extraction vessel is under the reduced pressure, thereby forming a vapor including at least a portion of the essential oil. The vapor is directed from the extraction vessel to at least one condenser vessel. Finally, the vapor is condensed to a liquid state such that the vapor includes at least a portion of the essential oil, by utilizing the at least one condenser vessel.

The system includes a housing, a liquid receptor disposed within the housing for accepting the liquid, a liquid inlet for delivering the liquid from outside the housing to the liquid receptor, and a measuring device for determining the amount of liquid delivered to the liquid receptor. The system further includes a heater for heating the liquid delivered to the liquid receptor to thereby convert the liquid to a vapor, and an outlet for discharging the vapor outside the housing.

摘要: A water purification and recovery system and method are provided for treating unprocessed water to produce purified water suitable for any of several uses. The system and method include energy reduction and integration features which enhance cooperation between a sludge recovery module and water purification module. The modules of the system perform sequential separation of solid and dissolved contaminants and impurities, respectively, from the unprocessed water. The sludge recovery module includes two or more induction heaters which are operated at least in part by electricity produced using steam formed in the sludge recovery module by the induction heaters. Purified water and, optionally, one or more concentrated non-aqueous products are produced from the water purification module.
