摘要： A marine vessel steering apparatus includes a steering mechanism arranged to be operable by an operator, a steering unit arranged to turn a pivoting unit mounted pivotally on a marine vessel, a detecting unit arranged to detect if an actual pivoting angle, the turning angle of the pivoting unit, becomes equal to or greater than a predetermined angle, a locking unit arranged to lock the turning of the steering mechanism, and a control unit. The control unit is programmed to set a target pivoting angle based on the turning state of the steering mechanism and to drive the steering unit to make the actual pivoting angle equal to the target pivoting angle. The control unit is also programmed, when the detecting unit detects that the actual pivoting angle becomes equal to or greater than the predetermined angle, to drive the locking unit to lock the turning of the steering mechanism.

摘要： A marine vessel propulsion system includes multiple propulsion devices, multiple operation levers, and multiple lever position sensors arranged to detect the positions of the multiple operation levers, and a control unit. The control unit is programmed to control, based on detection results from the multiple lever position sensors, the shift states of the respective propulsion devices and to change the steering angle of at least one of the propulsion devices. The control unit may be arranged to change the steering angles of the propulsion devices to facilitate the behavior of the hull corresponding to the shift states of the respective propulsion devices.

There are also provided a highly-reliable optical semiconductor element mounting board and an optical semiconductor device each produced with the resin composition, and methods for efficient production thereof. A thermosetting light-reflecting resin composition is prepared and used, which includes (A) an epoxy resin, (B) a curing agent, (C) a curing catalyst, (D) an inorganic filler, (E) a white pigment, (F) an additive, and (G) a release agent as major components, wherein the resin composition, after curing, has a diffuse reflectance of 80% or more at a light wavelength of 400 nm; and the resin composition is possible to perform transfer molding 100 times or more continuously.

摘要： A telephone exchange system includes a connection interface connecting a communication line and a plurality of extension telephones, a database having a dial-in conversion table registering a received number in association with a number after conversion for a dial-in incoming call, and an extension number table registering an extension telephone in association with an extension number of the extension telephone, and a main controller connected to the connection interface and the database. When the dial-in incoming call comes from the communication line, the main controller retrieves an extension number which coincides with the received number from the extension number table. When there is an extension number which coincides with the received number, the main controller causes an extension telephone corresponding to the extension number to ring.

摘要： A boat has a propulsion unit and a steering system. The steering system includes a steering device actuated by an electric actuator. A steering wheel operated by an operator is electrically connected to the actuator. Detectors collect data regarding one or more of operation status of the steering wheel, running status of the boat, status of the propulsion unit, status of the electric actuator, and the like. In certain situations, the electric actuator may not be capable of providing a quick steering response. A controller weighs detected data to identify such situations and controls a propulsive force of the propulsion unit so as to restrain the propulsive force if necessary to maintain good steering response.

摘要： An outboard motor is provided on a hull and a steering system is connected electrically to the outboard motor and adapted to steer the hull by rotating the outboard motor. Steering motors are provided to the outboard motor. A control unit has a motor selector for choosing which of the steering motors is used to steer the outboard motor. The control unit stores motor characteristic data about the steering motors and correction data based on factors that change characteristics of the steering motors. The motor selector compares a detection signal of a steering torque detector of a boat with the motor characteristic data and the correction data in order to select at least one of the steering motors to be operated.
