    摘要: An apparatus for providing passive bus communication in an ISDN without use of services of a central office includes a passive bus suitable for ISDN D-channel frame communication, the passive bus having an echo channel and having a plurality of terminal devices coupled to the passive bus. A receiving circuit is coupled to the passive bus for receiving D-channel frames containing a SAPI address transmitted from the terminal devices over the passive bus. A decoding circuit is coupled to the receiving circuit for decoding D-channel addresses transmitted from the terminal devices over the passive bus. The decoding circuit includes a circuit for determining if one of the D-channel frames from the terminal devices include a predetermined SAPI address. A switching circuit is coupled to and responsive to the decoding circuit, and implements a logical communication channel between two or more of the plurality of terminal devices when the D-channel frame includes the predetermined SAPI address. The switching circuit echoes D-channel frames over the echo channel of the passive bus for receipt by the terminal devices (TE) coupled to the passive bus and inhibits transmission of the D-channel frames to the central office when the D-channel frames include the predetermined SAPI address. The TE monitors the D-echo channel to receive the local passive bus communication in addition to contention resolution.

    摘要: An ISDN network termination unit for connecting a user's bus line connected to a plurality of terminal equipments and a subscriber line extending from an exchanging office receives and transmits a D channel signal from one of the exchanging office and each terminal equipment to the other to thereby establish a data link between them on the D channel. The D channel signal is provided with an identifier code field. In order to establish a data link between the terminal equipments on the D channel without use of the subscriber line and the exchanging office, the ISDN network termination unit is provided with an identifier code holder for holding a predetermined identifier code and a deciding circuit for deciding whether or not the identifier code in the D channel signal from a specific one of the terminal equipment is equal to the predetermined identifier code. When both are equal to each other, the D channel signal is returned by a returning circuit to the terminal equipments through the user's line to thereby establish the data link between the specific terminal equipment and the other terminal equipments through the network termination unit. It may be made that a start flag and a stop flag are additionally detected so as to control the returning circuit.

    摘要: A plurality of data terminals are connected to a plurality of ports in a data terminal control unit. A table representing correspondence in an extension number, a dial-in number and an ISDN subaddress of each data terminal equipment, the number of a port connected with each data terminal equipment, and so on is provided within the data terminal control unit. When one data terminal equipment calls another data terminal equipment, the extension number of the data terminal equipment to be called is set in a setup message. When one data terminal equipment is called from an outside line, an ISDN number thereof is set in a setup message. The setup message is then transmitted to the data terminal control unit. The data terminal control unit refers to the table, thereby to specify the data terminal equipment to be called and transmit the setup message to the corresponding data terminal equipment.

    摘要: A local communication system among ISDN terminal equipment in a user's premises are connected to a local passive bus of the LSDN basic-access interface. The present system can establish the local communication through a network termination unit among ISDN termination equipment. In order to establish such a local communication, a multiframing scheme is taken on a passive bus forming multiframes by combining together the predetermined number of frames which are as defined in the I.400 series of CCITT recommendations. The network termination unit has a switching device for coupling two circuit-switched type communication channels (B1, B2) on the passive bus in one direction of transmission with the two other channels (B2, B1) in the other direction to establish local communication. Alternatively, the switching device couples the two channels on the passive bus with those on the subscribed line to establish external communication. Each of the terminal equipments has a device for requesting the local communication when required.

    摘要: The ISDN user-network interface is defined in the CCITT D-channel protocol recommendation (I-400 series recommendations), in which many kinds of communication terminals (e.g. faximile, telephone, teletex, etc.) can communicate through a subscriber line. The user-network interface is improved from the view point of effectiveness of terminal usage, provision of communication service, and, flexibility of system configuration, by providing a control terminal in the subscriber. The control terminal doubles as ordinary terminal equipment, and has a global control function for controlling other subscriber terminal equipment. The control terminal establishes and/or releases a local control phase in which a control terminal controls ordinary terminal equipment in the same subscriber to have them correspond to the communication with another subscriber using the means which belong to the ordinary terminal equipment inherently. The control terminal operates as an ordinary terminal apparatus when it is not in local control phase.

    摘要: A telephone exchange system includes a connection interface connecting a communication line and a plurality of extension telephones, a database having a dial-in conversion table registering a received number in association with a number after conversion for a dial-in incoming call, and an extension number table registering an extension telephone in association with an extension number of the extension telephone, and a main controller connected to the connection interface and the database. When the dial-in incoming call comes from the communication line, the main controller retrieves an extension number which coincides with the received number from the extension number table. When there is an extension number which coincides with the received number, the main controller causes an extension telephone corresponding to the extension number to ring.
