摘要: The present invention relates to a non-contact type power supply unit intended for use in electronic equipment, aiming at the realization of a small size and low cost and successful achievement in an enhanced capability of electric power transmission. In order to achieve the foregoing objectives, the non-contact type power supply unit comprises a primary coil(11) that is fed with pulsated currents, a secondary coil(13) mounted opposite to the primary coil(11) in an enclosure that is different from an enclosure wherein the primary coil(11) is mounted, whereby electric power is transferred from the primary coil(11) to the secondary coil(13) and wherein a ferrite core(12) is disposed so as to extend from the primary coil(11) towards the secondary coil(13), thus achieving efficient electric power transmission from the primary coil(11) to secondary coil(13).

摘要: Regarding spinel-type lithium manganese-based composite oxide (LMO) to be used as a positive electrode active substance material for lithium battery, a novel LMO is provided, which is capable of maintaining discharge capacity even if charging and discharging are repeated under high temperatures. An LMO in which the crystallite size is 250 nm to 350 nm, the strain is 0.085 or less and the specific surface area increase rate when placed in water at 25° and pH 7 and ultrasonically dispersed at 40 W ultrasonic intensity for 600 seconds is 10.0% or less, can prevent a decrease in the output that accompanies the repetition of charging and discharging while at a high temperature.

摘要: The image heating apparatus includes a heater having first and second and heat-generation segments each having a plurality of spaced-apart heat generating parts therein in the longitudinal direction respectively. The heat generating parts each have first and second electro-conductive patterns provided along the longitudinal direction on a substrate and overlapping in the longitudinal direction, and a heat generating resistor which electrically connects the respective overlapping regions of the first electro-conductive pattern and the second electro-conductive pattern with each other and generates heat by supplied electric power. It simultaneously prevents the temperature in a non-sheet feeding portion from rising and secures fixing properties in the gap between the adjacent heat generating parts.

摘要: An image heating apparatus which can suppress the excessive temperature rise of the non-sheet passing area of a heater. In an image heating apparatus having a heater generating heat by electrical energization, a flexible member moved while contacting with the heater, and a backup member cooperating with the heater with the flexible member interposed therebetween to form a nip portion, and for heating a recording material bearing an image thereon while nipping and conveying the recording material between the flexible member and the backup member, the heater is constructed by heat-treating a raw material containing an organic matter in an atmosphere wherein carbon is hardly oxidized to thereby carbonize the organic matter.

摘要: An acceleration detector comprising a rotor rotatably supported within a housing and rotating against the urging force of a torsion spring based on acceleration, a pair of contact terminals contacting each other to be in an electrically connected state by rotation of the rotor at an inner end portion provided within the housing, and a supporting portion integrally formed with the rotor and supporting the torsion spring. The supporting portion is displaced by a predetermined amount in a predetermined direction from the rotary center of the rotor so that the spring effect center when torque is exerted on the torsion spring by rotation of the rotor substantially corresponds to the rotary center of the rotor. This construction of the acceleration detector produces the desired performance approximating the design value in an acceleration detector.

摘要: An abnormality detecting apparatus for an air temperature sensor which can detect an abnormality of the air temperature sensor with high reliability. The determination of abnormality is performed based on a detected temperature of the air temperature sensor when it is determined that the engine is in a sufficiently warmed state and when it is determined that the vehicle is stopped. The determination may be performed based on a temperature detected by the air temperature sensor during a predetermined period after a start of the engine when the start of the engine is detected and when it is determined that the engine is in the sufficiently warmed state. Additionally, the determination may be performed based on a temperature detected by the air temperature sensor after detecting a start of a cooling fan.
