摘要： An image recording apparatus has a photochromic photosensitive member with a light transmittance that is variable dependent on the light applied to it from an original that has been illuminated by a first light source. A second light source, which emits a light that the photochromic photosensitive member is insensitive to, is then used to form an electrostatic latent image on an uniformly charged photosensitive sheet with the photosensitive sheet being carried on the surface of a transfer drum past one or more developing devices in order to make the electrostatic latent image on the photosensitive sheet a visible image. A mask member film may alternatively be used between an exposure light source and the photosensitive sheet.

摘要： Disclosed is a thermo-sensitive transfer ink ribbon to be used for producing a dry type transfer material, which is constituted by: a ribbon substrate material; an ink layer formed on a surface of the substrate material and containing a coloring agent, a binder agent, a pressure-sensitive adhesive in the form of dispersion of fine particles; and a transfer property control layer formed on the ink layer and containing a thermo-sensitive adhesive and a tackiness agent. Further disclosed is a method of producing the thermo-sensitive transfer ink ribbon which comprises the steps of: dissolving/dispersing a coloring agent, a binder agent, and a pressure-sensitive adhesive in a predetermined solvent; applying the solvent onto a surface of a ribbon substrate material so as to form an ink layer on the surface; and coating the ink layer with a mixture in which a thermo-sensitive adhesive and a tackiness agent are mixed with each other in the form of a predetermined solution or dispersion liquid.

摘要： An image-retransfer sheet for processing dry transferring material produced by the heat-sensitive method includes a substrate, a layer of surface treating agent coated on the substrate and a layer of extended thermoplastic synthetic resin film formed on the layer of surface treating agent. An image is transferred to the image-retransfer sheet by making holes through the layer of extended thermoplastic synthetic resin film in the heat-sensitive method. In retransferring the image from the image-retransfer sheet to an image-receiving material, only the surface treating agent overlapped with the image on the image-retransfer sheet is retransferred to the image-receiving material together with the image. Therefore, undesired surface treating agent around the image is not retransferred to the image-receiving material.

摘要： A separator for alkali-zinc battery comprising a microporous membrane having alkali resistance, a part of the porous membrane having highly persistent hydrophillic property and the remaining part having water repellent property. In the part having hydrophillic property, precipitation of ZnO can be controlled sufficiently because of its large persistency of hydrophilic property so that dendrite short-circuiting in the battery can be prevented satisfactorily. In the part having water repellent property, O.sub.2 gas is permeable well through it so that a decrease in capacity of battery can be avoided.
