    摘要: A valve lifter assembly for deactivating a cylinder in an internal combustion engine. The valve lifter assembly is provided with a plunger movably disposed within a bore of a main body member to controllably isolate the cam lift from the rocker arm and valve of the engine. The plunger is normally locked in an extended position to transmit cam lift to reciprocatingly operate the valve. At least one locking pin is moveably disposed within the plunger to engage an inner annular groove of the main body member. Pressurized oil is provided to dislodge the locking pins from the annular groove and allow the plunger to move within the main body member, thereby isolating the cam lift from the rocker arm and valve. The deactivating lifter is preferably disposed within the recess conventionally provided for hydraulic valve lifters.

    摘要: A valve lifter assembly for deactivating a cylinder in an internal combustion engine.     摘要: A downhole well pumping assembly has a shroud with an upper section and a lower section sealed from one another. A submersible pump and a gas separator are housed within the upper section of the shroud. The gas separator has a liquid outlet in fluid communication with an intake of the pump, and a gas outlet in fluid communication with the gas outlet in the shroud. A motor is housed within the lower section of the shroud, the motor being coupled to the gas separator for rotating the gas separator and the pump. A well fluid lower inlet is in the shroud below the motor and a well fluid lower outlet is in the shroud above the motor.

    摘要: A camshaft phaser controllably varies the phase relationship between a crankshaft and a camshaft in an internal combustion engine. The camshaft phaser includes an input member rotatable by the crankshaft. The input member is connected through a gear drive to an output member which is fixed to the camshaft. A rotational actuator acting on the gear drive unit causes relative rotation between the input member and the output member. A first stop member is rotatable with the input member in a one-to-one relationship. A second stop member is rotatable with the output member in a one-to-one relationship to limit relative angular travel between the input member and the output member. A torque absorption means is provided for limiting the rate at which torque is applied from the rotational actuator to the gear drive unit when the second stop member makes contact with the first stop member.

The system includes a logger, a second memory device and an outbound data transfer device. The logger is provided with one or more sensors, a microprocessor and a first memory device. The one or more sensors measure physical properties of the concrete mass and generate data associated with the physical properties. The microprocessor receives the data from the sensor and calculates maturity data and mechanical strength data. The first memory device stores the mechanical strength data within the concrete mass in an unalterable form. The second memory device is located outside the concrete mass. The outbound data transfer device transfers the mechanical strength data from the first memory device to the second memory device.

    摘要: A method and apparatus for selective routing of a multi-recipient communication from an origin domain to a destination domain within a communications network. An exit routing station added to the origin domain receives a datagram including content data intended for multi-recipient delivery in the destination domain. The exit routing station modifies the datagram for routing to the destination domain, and transmits it to the entry routing station. This enables delivery to the destination domain by other than multi-recipient techniques. An entry routing station added to the destination domain modifies the datagram for multi-recipient delivery in the destination domain and initiates multi-recipient delivery. The destination domain's entry routing station may modify the datagram with information specific to the destination domain and unknown to the origin domain. Accordingly, no revisions to software applications employing multi-recipient technology is required, and destination domains otherwise unreachable by traditional multi-recipient techniques may be reached.

    摘要: A variable cam phaser has drive and driven members connected by helical splines of an annular phase control piston and a lash control piston, axial motion of which varies the angular phase relation between the drive and driven members. A single wave spring received in a groove in one of the pistons biases them apart to take up lash in the splines. A return spring biases the phase control piston to an initial phase setting. Pre-timing of the members is provided for by a driven (or drive) member comprising two components, a hub flange that supports the other member and a splined hub carried by and initially rotatable on a tubular protrusion of the hub flange. After assembly of the phasing mechanism, the hub is rotated on the hub flange to pre-time the initial phasing of the members. An end of the tubular protrusion is then deformed into a flange engaging an annular shoulder on the hub to lock the hub and hub flange members together and maintain the pre-timing. An annular cover is then installed and retained by a retaining ring to close a hydraulic pressure chamber and help support the members. Upon assembly to a camshaft, a center bolt clamps the cover, hub and hub flange to the camshaft and relieves the locking means from operational torque loads.
