    摘要： An apparatus for treating workpieces comprises a treatment chamber enclosing a treatment zone for workpieces. A conveyor guides workpieces through the chamber. Said conveyor comprises drive elements located outside the chamber, and a carrier arm, extending through a slot along the conveyor's path of motion, in a wall of the chamber. A sealing arrangement comprises a first set of spring strips, which overlap laterally and are attached on one side of the slot to the wall, and an opposing second set of spring strips attached on the other side of the slot to the wall. In a resting position, the end zones of the spring strips overlap. Two deflecting devices, which move together with the carrier arm by the conveyor, open the sealing arrangement proximate the carrier arm by resiliently bending apart the spring strips. After passage of the carrier arm, the spring strips return to a sealing position.

    摘要： The present invention provides novel expression vectors which permit tight regulation of gene expression in eucaryotic cells. More specifically, the invention provides DNA vectors comprising nucleotide sequences that are transcribed to form RNA molecules which are then replicated by a temperature-sensitive replicase to form additional RNA molecules. The RNA molecules produced by replication contain a nucleotide sequence which may be translated to produce a protein of interest or which encode one or more untranslated RNA molecules. Also provided are methods for producing heterologous proteins and untranslated RNA molecules. Further provided are methods for administering heterologous proteins and untranslated RNA molecules to individuals. In addition, pharmaceutical compositions are provided comprising the DNA and RNA molecules of the invention and a pharmaceutically acceptable carrier.

    摘要： A pump for fluid media, with an inner pipe or tube arranged in a housing. A drive shaft is journalled in the inner tube, and a rotor is arranged in the housing. The rotor has a main body which is secured to the drive shaft and is provided with conveying blades for the medium. The rotor has a turbine or pump operating counter to the transporting or conveying direction of the conveying blades. At least one passage is arranged in the main body and extends from the pressure side to the suction side of the rotor, with the passage being connected with a suction gap on the inner tube.
