    摘要: In a fuel injection system for an internal combustion engine with a high pressure pump for supplying pressurized fuel to fuel injection valves and a multi-way valve disposed in the high pressure fuel line to the fuel injector for controlling the fuel flow to the injector, the multi-way valve is a spool valve which includes an actuator for positioning the spool to provide selectively a flow connection between the high pressure pump and the injection valve or between the injection valve and a fuel return line and which further includes an inflow throttle structure forming a pressure control device. A pressure sensor is arranged between the spool valve and the fuel injector and supplies the sensed pressure value to a controller which compares the value with predetermined set values and provides a correction value to the multi-way valve actuator for the correction of the pressure of the fuel supplied to the fuel injection valve.

    摘要: In a fuel injection system for an internal combustion engine with a fuel injection pump providing for an initial fuel injection and a main fuel injection wherein the fuel injection pump includes a main fuel supply passage section and a side passage and a main fuel control valve disposed in the main fuel supply passage section and an additional control valve arranged in the side passage, at low engine speeds, the main fuel control valve is closed during the initial and main fuel injection periods for generating a pressure sufficient to open a fuel injector nozzle and the additional fuel control valve is opened for reducing the fuel pressure and terminating initial fuel injection and, at high engine speeds, the main fuel control valve is closed during initial fuel injection and again for the main fuel injection.

    摘要: In a fuel injection system for a multi-cylinder Diesel engine which is provided with magnetic valve-controlled fuel injection nozzles, and which has two fuel supply conduits (common rails) for two different groups of fuel injection nozzles and at least one high-pressure pump connected to the fuel supply conduits for delivering high-pressure fuel thereto, each fuel supply conduit includes a pressure sensor which is connected to means for shutting off the fuel supply to a fuel supply conduit when the sensor senses a pressure loss in that conduit so that the pressure can be maintained in the other fuel supply conduit and the engine can be operated on a limited basis by the cylinders supplied by the groups of injection nozzles supplied with fuel by the other fuel supply conduit.
