    摘要: The invention relates to a constant load shear cell and a method for constant loading of a magnetorheological fluid in a constant load shear cell. The constant load shear cell comprises a rotatable shaft (1), to which a rotor plate (2) is fixed. A first gap (5), for accommodating a magnetorheological fluid, is formed between a first side (3) of the rotor plate (2) and a first shear surface (4). A second gap (8), for accommodating the magnetorheological fluid, is formed between a second side (6) of the rotor plate (2) facing away from the first and a second shear surface (7). The constant load shear cell further comprises at least one magnet (9) for generating a magnetic field in the first and second gaps (5, 8).

    摘要: A method for characterizing magnetorheological fluids using a volume flow rate measurement. The volume flow of the magnetorheological fluid through a capillary is initially measured, with a constant weight force being applied onto the magnetorheological fluid. A magnetic field is then applied to the capillary, and the volume flow of the magnetorheological fluid through the capillary is measured with the magnetic field applied, with a second constant weight force being applied onto the magnetorheological fluid. A device for carrying out the method comprises a container for storing a magnetorheological fluid, wherein the container is connected on one side to a capillary through which the magnetorheological fluid can flow, and is closed on a different side by a movable piston, which presses the magnetorheological fluid through the capillary with a constant weight force, and means for generating a magnetic field are provided in the region of the capillary.

    摘要: A method and device for preparing a paste-like compound having at least two constituents which set after having been mixed. The mixed compound is injected into an intermediate space between two glass panels of an insulating glass pane by delivering the at least two constituents from storage containers into separate intermediate storage units from which they are delivered into a mixer in which the constituents are mixed while passing through the mixer. The compound leaving the mixer is injected into the intermediate space between the two glass panels by a nozzle which has at least one opening directed into the intermediate space between the glass panels. The nozzle is moved along the edge of at least one of the two glass panels. The constituents of the paste-like compound are pumped using gear pumps from the intermediate storage units into the mixer, where they are dynamically mixed by motor-driven mixing elements.

    摘要: Boron-containing steel products having boron contents of up to 200 ppm are obtained by an annealing process in the temperature range of between 850.degree. and 1050.degree. C. The characterizing feature of the invention is that the products are annealed in the state of equilibrium in a non-oxidizing gaseous atmosphere with a boron potential supplied by a pulverulent boron oxide source having a value such that the products retain or adsorb their boron content. The boron source is quantitatively about 100 g of B.sub.2 O.sub.3 per m.sup.3 of annealing space. In an annealing gas atmosphere mainly consisting of hydrogen, the steam partial pressure can be adjusted at atmospheric pressure in the presence of B.sub.2 O.sub.3 to the required boron activity within the range of between 10.sup.-3 to 10.sup.-5. The products can also be simultaneously case hardened during annealing. The case hardening agent can be mixed with pulverulent boron oxide as the boron source.
