Pentacene derivatives fluorinated at desired positions of the pentacene skeleton are obtained by introducing the oxo group, hydroxyl group, or alkoxyl group into the pentacene skeleton followed by fluorination with sulfur tetrafluoride and partial defluorination using a reducing agent.

The fuel-reactive layer is in contact with the fuel-diffusion layer, and the oxygen-reactive layer is in contact with the oxygen-diffusion layer. Further, the fuel-diffusion layer has high water-repellency than the oxygen-diffusion layer.

Printing is performed so a respective dot for at least one color is arranged so that the number of sub-lines between the respective recording dot and a recording dot immediately before the respective recording dot in the sub-scanning direction is different from the number of sub-lines between the respective recording dot and a recording dot immediately after the respective recording dot, and in adjacent rows in the main scanning direction, recording dots are formed so that repeating phases of the recording dots differ from each other.
