摘要: A vehicle control system is provided to reduce a change in drive force and to start an engine without delay when starting the engine by a motor during running. The control system is applied to a hybrid vehicle having an internal combustion engine and two motors supplied electric power from a battery. The control system comprises a determination means that determines a fact that a state of charge of the battery is lower than a first threshold, during propelling the vehicle by the two motors by supplying the electric power from the battery while stopping the engine (at step S2); and a drive force restriction means that restricts a total drive force of said two motors for propelling the vehicle to an allowable limit which is lower than a theoretical maximum drive force of said two motors, given that the state of charge of the battery is lower than a first threshold (at step S3).

摘要: An LED lighting device includes a DC/DC power converter having output terminals coupled to respective lamp sockets. A controller receives signals from a current sensor and a voltage sensor, and controls the DC/DC power converter to increase/decrease an output voltage based on a sensed output current with respect to a target value. A sensed output voltage is compared to predetermined upper and lower limit values, and the DC/DC power converter is disabled when the output voltage exceeds the predetermined upper limit value or falls below the predetermined lower limit. The controller further measures an accumulated lighting time of the device, and after the accumulated lighting time has exceeded a predetermined switching time, decreases the upper limit value monotonously or in increments as the accumulated lighting time passes.

摘要: A boot for a joint, wherein an equal-diameter part and thick-walled parts are formed on the inner peripheral wall of a large diameter tube part. A first tapered part extending from the equal-diameter part is continued with a second tapered part formed at the thick-walled parts in the circumferential direction. The diameter reducing ends of the first tapered part and the second tapered part are located at the same position, and a thin-walled part engaged with an annular groove formed in the outer member of a constant-velocity joint is continued with the diameter reducing end.

摘要: Oral or peroral administration, including intragastrically, of killed whole pneumococci, lysate of pneumococci and isolated and purified PspA, as well as immunogenic fragments thereof, particularly when administered with an adjuvant such as cholera toxin provides protection in a host, animal or human, against pneumococcal infection, including colonization, and systemic infection, such as sepsis. The ability to elicit protection against pneumococcal colonization in a host prevents carriage among immunized individuals, which can lead to elimination of disease from the population as a whole.

摘要: A compression head for a hydraulic compression tool comprises a fixed die and movable dies, the fixed die being mounted on a stationary head attached to a tool body and the movable dies being positioned within the stationary head and actuated by a piston of a pump mechanism equipped in the tool body. The piston is attached at its front end to a guide plate having a center support and two side supports. The guide plate is provided at both front and reverse sides with guide grooves. Each of the movable dies rests on the upper surface of each side support through a roller means, while it is interposed between two guide plates slidably engaging with said guide grooves of each side support. Further, each of the movable dies is supported against the center support by a return spring, which is received at one end by an insertion hole of each movable die and at the other end by a cutout on the center support.

摘要: A process for producing an improved ceramic fiber molding by submersing the molding into a suspension containing colloidal silica and/or colloidal alumina and chromium oxide powder. The chromium oxide is deposited onto the ceramic fibers thereby increasing the molding's resistance to linear shrinkage and corrosion when subjected to high temperatures.
