At least one of the positive electrode plate (2) and the negative electrode plate (3) includes a porous protective film (28) formed on a surface of an active material layer. In a surface of the at least one of the electrode plates on which the porous protective film (28) is provided, a plurality of grooves (10) are formed, and the grooves (10) are also formed in the surface of the active material so that each of the grooves (10) extends from the surface of the porous protective film (28) to the surface of the active material layer.

    摘要: After accommodating an electrode group in a battery case having a substantially square transverse cross section, making an opening head of the battery case into a cylindrical shape through compression molding, an annular groove is formed by pressing a groove-forming roller sideways against a side surface of the opening head while rotating the battery case with a pressing force being kept applied to the battery case in an axial direction from the opening portion side, or alternatively pressing the groove-forming roller against the opening head from the side surface thereof and concurrently displacing the groove-forming roller in a direction toward the opening portion of the battery case while rotating the battery case. After having an annular supporting portion that bulges inward of the battery case support an opening-sealing member, the opening-sealing member is fixed through caulking by bending the opening end portion of the battery case inward, whereby a battery is manufactured.

    摘要: A conveying holder for cylindrical cell is provided which is capable of stably supporting a cylindrical cell irrespective of variation in outer diameter of the cell or impact during transfer. An outer wall member 20 of which inner diameter is greater than the diameter of a cylindrical cell 7 is provided. A plurality of elastic inner wall portions 21 are concentrically arranged to have a distance from the inner side of the outer wall member 20, each elastic inner wall portion joined at both ends to the outer wall member 20. A cell holding portion 22 is provided projecting inwardly from the inner side of each elastic inner wall portion 21 and having a cell holding surface 29 thereof corresponding in shape to the outer side of the cylindrical cell 7. The cell holding surfaces 29 are arranged along a concentric circle which is smaller in diameter than the cylindrical cell 7 so that they can hold the cylindrical cell 7 in-between under pressure.
