    摘要: A liquid crystal display panel comprising: a liquid crystal display section; an array section of switching elements connected to first information signal lines of the liquid crystal display section, respectively; a driving circuit section which divides the switching element array section into a plurality of blocks and time-sharingly drives these blocks on a block unit basis; second information signal lines of wirings as many as the number of switching elements of one block among those blocks being connected to the driving circuit section; an information signal output circuit for applying an information signal to the second information signal lines; and an arithmetic operating circuit for correcting the information signal which is applied to the second information signal line in the previous block near the next block between the previous block which is previously driven and the next block which is driven next when the panel is time-sharingly driven for every block to an information signal to eliminate a high luminance which is produced in the first information signal line connected to this second information signal line.

    摘要: In a method of driving a liquid crystal panel using one horizontal period (1H) as a reversal period, the liquid crystal panel using a TFT as a switching element for driving the panel in units of divided blocks and comprising the block division TFT's (B-TFT), a matrix circuit for driving each block in time division, and a TFT active matrix panel; each block of the B-TFT's is further divided into two half-blocks and a control signal shifted in phase between adjacent two half-blocks is applied to time-divisionally drive the liquid crystal panel at superposed timings. High intensity lines produced at the intersection of blocks due to the charge sharing effect are eliminated to thereby enable a high quality image to be produced.

    摘要: The specification and drawings relate to liquid crystal matrix display panel which is used to display a television image or the like and disclose the technology in which: the pixels on a matrix are divided into at least two groups of pixels, in particular, two right and left pixel groups; these pixel groups are respectively independently driven within one horizontal scanning interval; thereby widening the width of the vertical scanning signal and allowing the image signal to be sufficiently transferred to the liquid crystal cells; and thereby allowing a high-quality image to be displayed without causing a lack of luminance or a variation in luminance in association with the realization of a large area and a fine pitch of the display panel.

    摘要: A matrix-type display panel comprises a display panel having a plurality of scanning lines, a plurality of data lines and a plurality of picture elements disposed at each intersection of the scanning lines and data lines, and analog switching elements for sampling-and-holding information signals which are applied to the data lines in synchronism with scanning signals applied to the scanning lines. The matrix-type display panel is driven by a driving method comprising: applying such switching pulses to the analog switching elements that time-serial pulses among them and shifted in phase from each other and overlap each other in a same duration.
