摘要: An image display apparatus includes a light source controller; an element controller; and an image analyzing unit. The light source controller controls the amount of the light to be emitted from the light source, based on the target light amount and a time constant. The image analyzing unit calculates saturation based on the signal values of the video input signals of the plurality of colors, and sets the time constant according to the saturation.

摘要: A projection display apparatus includes; an element control unit configured to control a light valve so as to display a test pattern image configuring at least one portion of a respective one of three or more line segments configuring three or more crossing points; an acquisition unit configured to acquire a pickup image of the test pattern image outputted along a predetermined line from an image pickup element configured to pick up the test pattern image projected on a projection plane; a computation unit configured to specify three or more crossing points from three or more line segments included in the pickup image, based upon the pickup image acquired by the acquisition unit, and to compute a positional relationship between the projection image apparatus and the projection plane, based upon the three or more crossing points; and an adjustment unit configured to adjust an image projected on the projection plane, based upon the positional relationship between the projection display apparatus and the projection plane. The three or more line segments have an inclination relative to the predetermined line.

摘要: A projection display apparatus according to embodiments includes a light source that emits color component light beams of a plurality of colors and an imager that modulates the color component light beams of a plurality of colors emitted from the light source. The projection display apparatus includes an element control unit that controls the imager; and a light source control unit that controls the light source. The element control unit controls the imager based on an image output signal obtained by a signal expansion process of an image input signal. The light source control unit performs a power reduction process of reducing power supplied to the light source according to an expansion amount of the image input signal expanded by the signal expansion process. The light source control unit performs a light emission period control process of adjusting light emission periods of a color component light beams of a plurality of colors emitted from the light source within a 1-frame period according to the image input signal.

摘要: A projection display apparatus includes an imager that modulates light emitted from a light source and a projection unit that projects light emitted from the imager on a projection surface. The projection display apparatus includes: an imager controller that controls the imager to display a test pattern image in which a characteristic point is defined by at least three adjacent regions; an acquisition unit that acquires a captured image of the test pattern image from an imaging element configured to capture the test pattern image projected on the projection surface; and an adjustment unit that identifies the characteristic point included in the captured image on the basis of the captured image acquired by the acquisition unit and adjusts an image to be projected on the projection surface on the basis of the identified characteristic point. The at least three adjacent regions surround the characteristic point and are adjacent to the characteristic point.
