    摘要: An optical wireless communication method and apparatus that uses Manchester code via a connector connected with a personal computer. The Manchester data from the computer are converted to NRZ transmission data to be temporarily stored and read out. A frame of the read out data is appended with a head leader identifying a sender and end data at the head and end of the frame to be converted to the DMI transmission optical data. The optical data inserted between the head leader and END data are receivable being distinguished from the optical signal of the sender and optical noises. The DMI entitative data removed from the head leader and end data are converted to data of the Manchester code in the reverse course to the sender to be delivered as the Manchester data via a connector. As the optical data with the head leader and end data are distinguishable from the optical signal of the sender and optical noises, high sensitive optical receivers are available.

    摘要: An optical wireless communication method and apparatus configured to distinguish optical LAN data from optical noise is disclosed. The apparatus communicates using Manchester coded data via a connector connected to a personal computer. The Manchester coded data from the computer are converted to NRZ transmission data to be temporarily stored and read out. A frame of the read out data is appended with a head leader, and end data, at the head and end of the frame respectively to be convened to the DMI transmission optical data. The optical data inserted between the head leader and END data are receivable and can be distinguished from optical noise. The DMI received data removed from the head leader and end data are convened to data of the Manchester code in contrast with the transmission side to be delivered as the Manchester data via the connector. As the optical data with the head leader and end data are distinguishable from optical noise, high sensitive optical receivers are available.

The emitter preferably includes a plurality of emitter elements (141-144) spaced laterally along the rear end portion of the card to provide increased power in a small thickness.

    摘要: In an optical disc reproducing apparatus, when a stop key is pressed during reproduction of an optical disc, a resume function is activated, and a resume-on indication appears on a display device. When the resume-on indication goes out a predetermined time thereafter, a resume-indicating light-emitting device is lit. Thereafter, when a play key is pressed, resume reproduction is started. If, by mistake, a key other than the play key is pressed, a warning indication appears on the display device to indicate that a resume-on state is currently established, and also, if the pressing of the key is a first-time pressing, the pressing of the key is neglected.
