摘要: A producing method of direct reduced iron includes the steps of: drying an oxidized iron raw material selected from a group including iron ore and iron-making dust generated in an iron-making process to have a predetermined moisture content; mixing the oxidized iron raw material subjected to the drying step and a reducing material having a predetermined moisture content to obtain a mixture; pulverizing the mixture obtained in the mixing step for 80% minus-sieve to have a particle diameter of 70 μm to 500 μm; kneading the mixture after the moisture content of the mixture subjected to the pulverizing step is adjusted; agglomerating the mixture subjected to the kneading step to be agglomerate; and reducing the agglomerate obtained in the agglomerating step by a rotary hearth furnace to generate direct reduced iron.

摘要: Two kinds of molten steels are poured into a continuous casting mold. Direct current magnetic flux is applied which direct current magnetic flux extends in a direction transverse to the thickness (corresponding to the thickness of a casting slab) of the poured content at a position of a certain height of the mold. The molten steels are supplied above and below a boundary of static magnetic fields formed by the direct current magnetic flux longitudinally or in a casting direction. When a difference (.DELTA..rho.) between a density .rho..sub.1 of the molten steel for an outer layer supplied above the static magnetic fields and a density .rho..sub.2 of the molten steel for an inner layer supplied below the static magnetic fields, is expressed by .DELTA..rho.=.rho..sub.1 -.rho..sub.2 (g/cm.sup.3), a density (tesla) of the direct current magnetic flux is determined by the following formula:a) in case of .DELTA..rho.

摘要: The present invention provides a steel for steel sheets excellent in workability and showing significantly decreased formation of surface defects, and a method of deoxidizing molten steel for the steel for steel sheets which prevents nozzle clogging during continuous-casting the molten steel. That is, the steel for steel sheets excellent in workability, comprises, based on weight, 0.0001 to 0.0030% of C, up to 0.03% of Si, 0.05 to 0.30% of Mn, up to 0.015% of P, 0.001 to 0.015% of S, up to 0.008% of Al, 0.02 to 0.08% of Ti, 0.0005 to 0.0020% of Ca, 0.0005 to 0.01% of N, optionally containing at least one of 0.001 to 0.02 wt % of Nb and 0.0001 to 0.0010 wt % of B, and the balance of Fe and unavoidable impurities. Moreover, the deoxidation method of the steel for steel sheets comprises properly adjusting addition amounts of Ca and Al as deoxidizing agents for the steel having the chemical composition mentioned above so that the chemical composition of the nonmetallic inclusions is controlled to prevent clogging of the casting nozzle.

摘要: A medical apparatus includes a power unit serving as a first connector portion, an insertion-section-side body serving as a second connector portion having an electrical contact portion which is to be connected to the power unit, a first wiper serving as a removing member which removes moisture on the electrical contact portion in a predetermined direction when the power unit and the insertion-section-side body are connected, and a second wiper serving as a prevention member which prevents entrance of moisture from a direction which is different from the direction of moisture removal by the first wiper. Thereby, even if moisture adheres to the electrical contact portion, the moisture is removed in the process of connecting the connection section, there is no concern that the moisture that is removed adheres to the electrical contact portion again, and the reliability can be improved.

摘要: An object of the present invention is to firmly attach a metallic fixing member to which an optical-fiber member is fixed, to a substrate. A tubular metallic fixing member, to one end of which an optical-fiber member is connected, is brazed and attached to a substrate housing a photosemiconductor element by depositing a nickel plating layer and a gold plating layer in succession on the surface thereof, subjecting the metallic fixing member into which a light-transmitting member is attached via glass, to an etching treatment, and removing nickel oxide formed on the surface of the gold plating layer.

摘要: A cast slab comprising fine particles of oxides and MnS, said oxide comprising an Mn silicate, with Mn oxide occupying 50 to 80% by weight of the sum of Mn oxide and Si oxide, unavoidably included oxides, and an optionally added oxide of at least one member selected from Zr, Ti, Ce, Hf, Y, and Al, said oxide having a size of 0.1 to 10 .mu.m being dispersed in an amount of 30 to 2000 pieces per mm.sup.2 of section of said cast slab. The dispersion of many oxide particles, which are likely to serve as nucli for the precipitation of MnS, in said cast slab can provide a plate steel having good toughness in a HAZ and a steel sheet product having excellent deep drawability.
