摘要: An electronic automobile anti-theft apparatus having high reliability includes a motor, which moves a lock pin to lock a steering shaft of an automobile. A solenoid maintains the lock pin in a state released from the steering shaft and operates to permit the lock pin to lock the steering shaft by receiving power. An ECU controls the operations of the motor and the solenoid. A mechanical switch stops supplying the solenoid with power to prevent unintentional locking by the lock pin when the automobile is being driven or when driving of the automobile is enabled.

摘要: An electronic automotive anti-theft device that prevents unintentional operation. The anti-theft device includes a lock pin for engaging and disengaging at least one of a movable member of a steering mechanism and a movable member of a driving mechanism in an automobile. An actuator drives the lock pin. A control unit is connected to the actuator to control the actuator. A power supply line connects the control unit to a power supply. A power supply switch is connected to the power supply line to supply the control unit with power. The power supply switch disconnects the power supply line when the automobile is being driven or when the automobile is allowed to be driven.

摘要: A start control apparatus has a steering lock mechanism, which includes a lock pin and a lock control unit. The lock pin is selectively engaged and disengaged from the steering shaft. The lock control unit controls the lock pin. The start control apparatus further includes a portable communication device, a verification control unit, which communicates with the portable communication device, a power source control unit, which control power supply, an engine control unit, which controls the engine, a lock state detecting switch, which detects an engaged state and a disengaged state of the lock pin. The lock control unit and the power source control unit monitor detection signals from the lock state detecting switch. The engine is permitted to be started on condition that the control units acknowledge that the lock bar is in the disengaged state.

摘要: An engine start/stop control system for preventing an engine from stopping when a vehicle is traveling. The system includes an IG1 driver circuit arranged between a power supply control unit and an IG1 relay. The IG1 driver circuit is activated in accordance with an activation signal from the power supply control unit or an output signal of a latch circuit and includes an FET for activating a relay. The latch circuit keeps the FET ON and the relay activated unless the vehicle stops traveling and a start/stop switch is pushed.

摘要: An electric steering lock device which can prevent a motor from being overloaded and can increase the drive force of the motor. The electric steering lock device of the present invention has a lock bar which moves according to the movement of a cam follower. The cam follower relatively moves in a spiral cam groove in accordance with the rotation of a rotary plate driven by an electric motor, thereby the cam follower moves along the radial direction of the rotary plate. The cam follower can be disengaged from the cam groove via the end portions of the cam groove according to the rotation of the rotary plate. When the cam follower is disengaged from the cam groove, the rotation of the rotary plate is permitted.

摘要: In a shielded connector having a connector housing subjected to conductive electroplating, a conductive shield ring is fitted into a housing chamber of the connector housing and a partner-side shield contact portion is inserted into the inside of the shield ring. The shield contact has resilient contact pieces and is slidable within a predetermined range within the shield ring. The shield contact has a split portion so that is has resilience in the diameter expanding direction thereof. The shield contact is locked with the shield ring. A pressure-insertion space is formed within the housing chamber and the shield ring is provided with pressure-insertion portions.

摘要: A shielded connector for direct installation for a device includes an insulating housing body; a flange of the insulating housing body, which is to be assembled with a device so that the insulating housing body is shield-connected to the device, the flange being entirely covered with a conductive plated layer; and a conductive contact plate deposited on the conductive plated layer on the first principal surface side of the flange and having an elastic contact piece to be brought into contact with the device on the second principal surface side of the flange. In this configuration, the flange of the housing body can be surely connected to the device for its grounding.
